Sorry for the unoriginal title but I came up with these ideas for mods for Minecraft. If I have ideas for recipes for them I'll put them with it. Also I'm sorry if any of these have been suggested/made before. And if someone does make these all I ask is a nod for the idea, you can have the rest of the credit.
C4- Basically a fence post sized version of TNT (TNT+ Gunpowder)
Time Bomb- Allows the player to set a time for the bomb to go off (TNT + Clock)
Flash Bomb- No damage but causes a burst of light to allow the player to see in dark areas more for a short time (TNT + Torch)
Beavers- Passive mob that cut down trees and make dams in the water.
Geisers- Either water or lava will shoot out of certain spots.
Bulls- Hostile mob only if it's with a cow. Other wise it will only attack if you attack it. Drops horns and leather.
Gloves- Boost the power of your punch- Made of leather- Can be combined with different materials to make different gloves (i.e Iron Gloves, Gold Gloves, Diamond Gloves etc)
Vampires- Drain your health- Can be killed with a stick or by luring it into the sunlight- Attacks wolves/werewolves on sight even if currently attacking the player.
Eastern Dragon- Passive mob- Hangs out in lakes or by water- Will attack any hostile mobs that come near them- Create paths of water behind them- Drop Dragon Armor
Dragon Armor- Colored like the Eastern Dragon- Boosts defense and allows the player to breathe underwater.
Pheonix- Passive mob- Only attacks if attacked- Hangs out near lava and will shoot fire balls when it takes off- Drops Pheonix Armor
Pheonix Armor- Colored like the Pheonix- Rengenerates health- Fire resistant
Thunderbird- Passive mob- Only attacks if attacked- Causes rain and thunderstorms- Drops Thunderbird armor
Thunderbird Armor- Colored like the Thunderbird- Boosts speed
Trains- Basically the engine car of a train that you can put onto minecarts or rows of minecarts. Powered by coal, the more coal you use the faster you go. Good for traveling to and from mines and homebases with tons of supplies.
Cloth- Made from Wool- used for curtains, clothing, and to cover traps.
Scorpions- Live in desert biomes- stinger causes poison damage- drops scales on death
Neon Lights- Made from glass and some sort of gas thingy (maybe deep mines could have gas in them that you can collect in bottles?)- used to make signs that you can light up.

- Can be contained with glass containers
- Used to fuel stuff

- Gas + Flint/Steel=Blow Torch
- Cuts and welds metal
- Don't point at your face!
Jack Hammer
Piston + Metal Shovel= Jack Hammer
- Digs faster and deeper than normal shovel
- Increases risk of falling into lava
- Needs matentence or breaks
- Don't use on foot!
Dart Gun
- Bamboo + Poison (from spider or scorpion or other source)+ feather = Dart Gun
- Tranquilizes target
- Don't inhale the dart!

It goes down as you loose heat

Here's a new item idea
Shine Rock- A craftable form of Glowstone. Can be used to make armor and weapons. The armor and weapons will glow with the same light as glowstone but will be weak to attacks (stronger than normal glowstone and just a little stronger than leather armor)
Here's a mod idea for arrows.
By using different materials you can create different types of arrows with different properties.
Just replace the flint with the material
Wood- Weakest
Glowstone- Creates a path of light for a few moments, same damage as normal arrow
Gold- Stronger than normal
Iron- Stronger than Gold, flies farther
Diamond- Strongest and flys farthest
Coal- can ignite to make torch arrow, same damage as normal
Torch- Drops a torch on impact, small chance of burning target
Redstone- Drops redstone torch on impact

The villagers have a symbiotic relationship with the Yeti, the yeti protect them and they give them food and shelter.
The law of the land says the villagers must give you two nights of shelter but after that you have to earn your stay
All houses are igloos
New Mobs
Polar Bear- Hostile, attack when near, drops meat and fur, fur can be used to make clothes to stay warmer
Penguins- Passive, drops meat
Seal- Passive, drops blubber
Walrus- Aggressive, drops blubber and tusks
Whales
Orca- Aggressive
Blue Whale- Passive
Narwhal- Passive
All drop blubber
Frost Giants- Only spawn on top of high mountains
Very hostile
Attack with swords, clubs, axes, etc made of ice
Drop meat and Frost Steal
Frost Steal- Very strong material- makes weapons/armor
