I've searched the forums wondering if something like this existed, but I haven't been able to find any thread that talks specifically about what I'm wanting. Hopefully I didn't just overlook something very obvious.
I'm looking for a mod that allows you to disable certain mobs from spawning, like the GUI in Mo' Creatures, but for regular mobs. I'm wanting to do a sort of zombie apocalypse thing using the Zombie Awareness mod, but I want to disable the other mobs for this. Having a GUI would be ideal because then I can just turn the mobs I don't want on and off to fit the situation.
I think this would be useful for a lot of people and I'm kind of surprised I haven't seen anything like it before. Again, if I'm just not seeing it and it's there, then please point me in the right direction and accept my apologies.
I'm sure it could be made, but I don't see why you need a GUI with it. It could easily just be a txt file with the mobs listed, just like the player blacklist.

You're right, a txt file would be just fine. Mainly I just wanted something that could be easily edited without having to start with a fresh minecraft.jar if you wanted to change something.
I can't imagine this would be too difficult a mod to make. It would be kind of like MobLimiter for Bukkit, but for SSP. I'm actually pretty surprised nothing like this seems to already exist, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

Edited the title to convey this.
