I personally hate 'taking mod requests' threads since they usually ask to keep it 'simple' meaning block and items etc etc. Well, I have never been really creative :sad.gif: And for that reason I don't make many mods. What I'm asking from you guys is to give me well thought out and written mod request that can't just be made in an hour. If you have made or know of a mod request like this then please link it for me.
Probally to simple, but can you make a mod that puts a bar over enemy's heads that show it's health?

I Got a big one for you my friend, Me and two other minecrafters brainstormed the idea while we were bored: An advanced nether mod "plagues of the nether* was the unnofficial title, the idea is that once you enter the nether There are a series of fortresses that generate getting bigger in size (templates not yet finished) Each ruled by an overlord of sorts that get stronger untill eventually you come across A really big one at the end with the main overlord that we depicted as a sort of mehrunes dagon (elder scrolls IV: oblivion) Now after completing all of these fortresses you fight the main overlord and Restore Light to the nether It doesnt replace anything It only Takes away the roof of the nether to reveal A black sun (tht still gives of light) and an ecplipsed moon. NOW THE INTERESTING PART: should you fail to take over these fortresses then theyy will mount an attack on the small sanctuary that houses your nether portal and your way home! should they reach this portal and remove a block called a "keystone" then they have access to the regular minecraft overworld and the nether starts leaking out into your world. The ground starts turning into netherrack and the water turns into lava and the only way to free your world is to go into A fort that is generated as soon as they destory the keystone (in the main world) and destory the enemy keystone thus sending them back to the nether and respawning your keystone inside and the who,e thing starts again.
SHOULD YOU COMPLETE THE FORTS: the emeny is driven out of the nether for 14 minecraft days and 15 nights and during that time you have access to the mini nether realm (with no current name) Made completely out of the keystone material Which you can mine and make weapons and items out of.

7= A big golem that is spawned out of 3x1x1 towers of netherrack

Sounds cool, but way to avoidable. You could just destroy your nether portal is you fail.
I would like a shrink ray mod that makes you 1 block high and there is a shrink ray gun and a grow gun the grow gun would make you 4 blocks high and make you be able to jump 3 blocks and with a diamond block you can make yourself normal and be able to jump 3 blocks still
mobs: when shrinking you find mobs that are 1/4th of a block and live in grass only
ogre that lives in caves and has its own dungeon and doesn't matter what hieght you are at when small doesn't attack until you do other sizes it attacks at encounter.

Can you make an npc mod with different types of npcs? nothing like humans+ or anything like that. one where i can control where it goes and which direction it looks. I AT LEAST want a simple npc that just says something (preferably the talking being configurable) when you right click it. but if your looking for something more advanced some traders that will trade you items depending on what you set it. (or the user in this case) and perhaps an npc that'll wait until you approach it before going to the set destination, as if its leading you. if you could do that i'd be impressed. btw if I got ideas from adventure craft npcs and a bukkit plugin called citizens.
P.S. i plan on using this for a LP if you agree to make it.
P.S.S. could you also make it so I can name them and put different skins on them depending what i named them? it shouldn't be too hard its just simple variables. and please make it so the names pop up like they do on multi player for real players.

I don't know how manipulate an entity from an item :/
This mod will be a mod that adds a kind of leveling, into crafting. Every single block you can craft will have it's own level of craftmanship. As you craft the block more, the blocks you create will be higher leveled and will have a longer life. This way structures will have to repaired over time.
This would be a great plugin for servers as people would be able to specialise in a certain block crafting and shops would be much more competitive. Eg. Bargain furniture might sell level 4 stairs for a cheap price and mahogany stairs could specialise in high level stairs for high prices.
Eventually, at a high enough level some blocks will become invincible (They will never wear out). However, blocks that need other crafted blocks to make will only be invincible if both the blocks used to create and the actual item crafting level, are the highest they can be. EG: Wodden stairs need planks to make them.

Hopefully my idea is apealing to you. When you spawn in a newly generated map, theres a new bar below your health and armour and above the hot-bar. What that bar is is the leveling bar. It would look like the classic leveling bar. If you kill a mob it gives your more 'XP' or you get an acheivements. New acheivments like, 'Iron Man' or something. You can make a post for that because I do not feel like coming up with 50 new acheivments at the moment. But if you level up, you get a perk choice, like Cat's Eye. You start at LVL1 with 0 perks. At lvl 2 you can choose 3 different perks. At lvl 3 you can choose 3, lvl 4, 2 perks. lvl 5+ 1 perk.

I would like you to attempt to make a follower mod where you can give him weapons to use food to eat etc. i would also want their to be a health bar above his head and an interface when you right click him with options such as follow or give (which would open his inventory) to give items etc. and a fight button where he would fight by your side and defend you suprise me with the followers that spawn and what you tame them with, please attempt this mod pm me with any updates questions or when you complete this
I would highly appreciate it if you could create a mod that adds new skeleton mob that is wielding a sword instead of a bow. I do NOT want this mob to REPLACE the bow wielding mobs, but to appear with the same frequency as the original skeleton mobs.
The stats that I have in mind for the Sword Wielding Skeleton are as follows:
Hearts = 25 (More that archer skeletons... they were once the front line of defense)
Damage = 3.5 hearts (same as player with stone sword)
Drops = 0 - 2 bones, 0 - 2 cobble (broken stone sword) or perhaps a Stone Sword
Would it be possible to have the sword wielding skeletons strafe to the left (their left, not the players... archer skeletons tend to strafe to their right) when attacking?
If any more details are required just let me know... Though I really wouldn't know what else to add...

Offense
QB - In the tool bar there will have to be ten slots instead of nine. Each slot will have to have a football in it. each football will throw a certain distance. such as slot one will throw ten yards and slot 2 will throw 20 yards and so on. But the fun part is that you have skill. you cant just be a QB and throw 100 yards. you will have to start off by throwing 20 yards or 10 yards to increase the skill.
WR - (wide receiver) The WR will obviously have to run and catch the ball. To make it fair it the WR wont always catch the ball. Say the QB throws it 10 yards the WR will have to get his skill "10 yard catch" up. by catching the ball but the catching is totally luck. every WR will start out with 20% chance of catching the ball for 10 yards and 10% for 20 yards. then 5% for 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 yards. the percent of catching 100 will be 1% but really hard to get up.
RB - (running back) He has 3 skills. Speed, carrying and avoid tackle. Carrying and speed get up the same way just to run with the ball. to get avoid tackle up is to just get hit by the defense.
Defnese - wont have specific positions but the skills are reach, speed, and hardness. to get reach up is to tackle people. the more reach the father you can be from tackle. Speed is explained in RB but all you have to do it run. Hardness is how hard you tackle you start off with a 60% chance of tackling but hardness is really hard to raise.
I created these ideas i dont think i took anyones ideas.
If your a modder and would like to create something like this PM and we could go into more details. Also if you arent a modder try to get this seen by a modder. and this mod could be really fun to play online with a few friends.
