I can't run .jar files the way they used to before with MC (The little prompt box telling you to close MC and install the mod.) I switched computers to a comp on Win10, and it asks me to pick an App to execute with. Picking the minecraft launcher doesn't work. It just doesn't run at all, no option in the 'profile' for it anywhere. Can anyone help?
It's an X-ray + Fly mod with coordinates built into it. I'm running normal MC, and I don't know where I'd find a mod folder on it? Is it in the actual files, or do I drag it into the launcher?
I think you should update your java runtime environment. The problem does not solve than you should try any third party software which efficiently performs your task. For more details visit.

Thanks, but you seemed to miss the date of the OP. Plus, with regards to MC, you DON'T OPEN .jar files. They are copied whole into the mods folder. Thanks for playing.

I can't install forge- forge is a .jar file. It simply won't execute.
Download and use the Installer-win file. It will auto-install Forge.

Do I just google Installer-win? Is it supposed to be included?

I got it to work, but now none of my mods are appearing to work? I put them in the mods folder. Is there an additional step i need to take?
Make sure the Profile your using is using Forge. Also make sure the mods version equals Forge version equals MC version you want to play.
