Its should be possible to make a player model with a separate mouth and then animate it as you speak, but it would be difficult because of speech detection, tho I think I could look into it later and tell you if I could make it
It actually isn't that hard because Java has the documentation for it on their website. Now, when I say "that" I mean it will still be difficult with the amount of mods that we are doing, it is definitely do-able though if we don't do anything else besides detect audio. We could also set it to do custom textures based on the player's name.

We need LESS projects and more people on a few projects. Remember we discussed the 1 person per project issue... Until we get more people, it would be a terrible idea to add new projects.

Mod Idea: Modular Storage
Basic Detail: Large Storage - Small Scrollable GUI
Extreme Detail: StorehousesYou are able to build storehouses which are large, solid, multi-block structures. They are created out of storehouse planks, and can be accessed from any side (similar to RailCraft blast Furnaces Coke Ovens). The amount of blocks you can store in a storehouse depends on the tier of planks you use the size overall. There are 3 sizes of storehouses: 3x3x3, 4x4x4, and 5x5x5. 3x3x3 has no buffs whatsoever. 4x4x4 has a 5% buff on the number of slots (rounded up if needed). 5x5x5 has a 15% buff on the number of slots (rounded up if needed). The slots in a storehouse are color coded by what plank they come from. This allows you to have a storehouse with multiple planks installed. Storehouse Planks

There is already a mod for this, called MumbleLink. It has distance based sound amounts too. Although, if that's not what you want (it has huge downsides, obviously) that would be interesting...
That uses mumble. I would have it all in game so that there would be no third-party software needed.

Actually, I was just thinking about it. Why not we write an API for voice interaction. That way people can use it to create mods that can interact with voice commands.

You are full of amazing ideas, but we dont have enough coders to do all of them! If you want these done, try to get CoreModding more publicised somehow.

uhm... not exactly. Applied Energistics constantly drains my power. This was fine when I had IC2 solars, but IC2 is pretty much as unstable as it gets at the moment. My idea is that we have easily accessible multi-block storage, rather than compressing millions of items into one block.
No more searching through countless chests for stuff you want (I personally have around 100 something double chests)
...
Also, I propose we have a banner for coremodding! It would greatly spread publicity (especially for me as I have 360 posts for people to look at it on).
