Hey there's a script my friends and I would love to use that depends on HTTP to find a players past names…please update this : D
And I need a clipboard function for looking at a waypoints cords! Journeymap has a feature that typing /jm ~ will input cordinates into your chat bar, which would allow the macro to CALCAWTO to those cordinates exactly…(we need to quickly get cords or set a waypoint and look at them)
For personal use I ported TechShroom's PreshButton module to macro 0.13.2 for minecraft 1.10.2 and macro 0.14.4 for 1.11.2. Thought I'd share this with everyone:
Thanks for patiently waiting. I'll give more details later but suffice to say I'm slowly making headway into the updates now...
Thanks for working on the updates, I just got back into minecraft and macros along with it and a number of my macros depend heavily on the HTTP module so it would be amazing to use that again. I would try myself at something like this but I have never done modding before, done a bit of bukkit plugin development though, plus I only just started my programming course so not sure I am good enough for this yet.
OP updated with the updates. Please note that HTTP and JSON requires macros 0.14.4 or higher because of a (severe relative to these modules) bug with colons in strings.
Again, sorry to keep everyone in the dark. I've had a dearth of free time since the last update but minecraft versions kept on coming. I did attempt to update to 1.10 but got stumped with what turned out to be a derp on my part, on which I missed my update window before 1.11 came out. There are a few features I'd still like to add, but they'll be relegated to the back-burner, as I still am struggling to keep up with just maintenance updates. My response time vis-à-vis new minecraft versions will still be sluggish for the foreseeable future, but hopefully not as sluggish since I've already done most of the hard work porting my ANT setup to the new ForgeGradle build system. Now that I can set these modules aside, I can begin updating my other mod (hopefully before the next minecraft version hits...).
By the way, the forums editor is almost as crappy as I remembered it...
Ach, sorry everyone for the dead links. Apparently Dropbox disabled public hotlinking last March and I didn't catch the notice. I'm finally having some time to deal with backlogs though, so hopefully soon I can set up a more permanent host.
I could try to update the modules, but you will need to send them to me, otherwise, I can't get them anywhere.
By the way, I am looking for the Http module, anybody got it?
Try the API 24 links again - I finally got around to them. All the older versions however won't work until I set up a more permanent home for them someday...
Re 1.12, I'll try to be quicker about updates, but don't hold your breath.
They've made two really useful modules, but they don't update api version anymore (latest is API 16). Could you manage to create the alternative modules for 24 and 26 API version?

Sorry, don't think I can. As I've stated in my post from a few months ago, I'm only able to do maintenance updates. The best I can do is poke kenzie on IRC but he's also in-and-out of the minecraft scene.
Can I use the http and/or json module to set the contents of a text file (online) to a variable?
Yes and no. To do literally what you're asking for, while possible, is regarded as inefficient for frequent updates - it's much better to set up a "RESTful" server backed by a database. If you do go this route, it'll be challenging if you're new but you'll learn a lot.
Alternatively, you can have your "database" backed by Google Sheets - I don't know much about their API but a few years ago, Farogan wrote a script to fetch data from one (but didn't manage to write one for uploading). I don't know if it still works, however. This route is probably quicker if you can figure out Google's new API.

Is there any way I could get the JSON module for Macromod/Minecraft 1.10.2? API version 24 didn't work, and for the previous version (API 17) the download link was broken.
Would also love to see this updated, if possible.
EDIT: It appears that the Farhit functionality is now built into the newest version of Macro mod via the TRACE commands.
Or 1.9.4
I am wondering if there are any version or updates in the making for 1.9.4?
I really like that clipboard module and since I know not how to play around in those .JAR files, I cannot look to update it myself...

Are there beta builds?
Thanks in advance!

Hi guys.
For personal use I ported TechShroom's PreshButton module to macro 0.13.2 for minecraft 1.10.2 and macro 0.14.4 for 1.11.2. Thought I'd share this with everyone:
PressButton v1.0.3 for macro 0.13.2
Direct link
PressButton v1.0.4 for macro 0.14.4
Direct link
Edit: update for 1.11.2
Might I ask which username lookup macro you like to use because I made one a while ago that was pretty good in my opinion that needed the HTTP module.

Took me a while to find, but it was added back in 1.8 as an environmental array SIGNTEXT[]. See Mumfrey's own demo pic:

Hi xaero_
All modules downloadlinks are down (Dropbox 404). A reupload would be awesome
And thank you for update this modules.
+1 This ^
Hope they can get around to it soon.

Hi, xaero_.
You may know, there is another modules developer, TechShroom (https://techshroom.com/other/minecraft/mods/macrokeybind-mod/modules/).
They've made two really useful modules, but they don't update api version anymore (latest is API 16). Could you manage to create the alternative modules for 24 and 26 API version?

Any way to get the older versions of the HTTPS API?
Check out https://github.com/NgoKimPhu/MacroModules-Essential/releases/tag/1.0.0
For personal use I ported TechShroom's Press Button module to API 24 and also added 2 modules getprop and slotmiddleclick
They may be of some use to you.
