Both of your stuff look cool. Wait, Jaryt, you code for Pixelmon? Awesome! I haven't been coding much recently, as... uhh... well, stupid reasons, like the fact that Dishonored and Assassin's Creed III came out.
Wow, all this stuff makes my mods look like "DIRT 2 DIAMONDS LOL YAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!11!!1!!" Anyway, glad to know the MU is still going. For a while I thought it was completely dead.
EDIT: Random sidenode: does anyone else read the abbreviation "MU" as "Moo" in their heads?
I've been not doing much, most of it has been either under-the-hood, or simply not graphical / serverside, so I can't say much. Really, it's hard to expect something really epic out of someone who makes tools... (TeamStats, MineVideo, etc).

To tell you the truth, most of what i have done for the next release is backend also. Setting up games, syncing data for games, saving data for games.
I also taught myself a bit of ASM to get the symbol to render above the players head without touching base classes or external APIs (other than forge). Actually if anyone was interested in learning a bit of bytecode manipulation give me a shout

Nice...
I need to work on a few of my mods more. Neglecting a few of them.

Cats.
Haha yup. I've been doing quite a few things for them lately, and that's a good excuse ;P

Err... I'm not sure if this is exactly a good idea or not but can I join..? I started modding about two years ago. My first mod was never published due to a couple of bugs but my next mod - HarderDays(the main idea was too stop mobs buring at day and to make the day harder but i kinda got carried away) - was published here [1.1 - 1.2.5] HarderDays Mod V3.1 - Will You Survive?!? - Minecraft Forum.
I have made a few other small mods like a couple of small fixes for minecraft (ie snowballs do more damage etc) and one which involved one whole line of code! making villagers follow you when you hold an emerald... HarderDays remains to date my best mod and i haven't really been modding for several months now (due to school stuff) and have had no time to update it to it's grand update i had been planning for so long. Now i'm back on holidays i intend to try and update it but i need some help with GUIs as i'm still learning and am no good. I have many ideas of mods i want to do in the future - big and small and am currently thinking about how i would go about making password protected worlds to prevent pesky siblings/friends from griefing your world. Thanks for your consideration - i have much to learn. P.s. i tried you website link - my browser claimed it doesn't exist...
P.p.s. is it possible to make java/minecraft write a batch file?(or something similar for mac etc)
@Above
Gui's are very easy infact, once you get the hang of them. If you ever want to add me on Skype I would love to help you out with them. Possibly teach you through making that password protection mod you have there (which infact is a very neat idea)

I guess you could make it write to a batch, but I really don't know. Google "write to a batch file java".

It's fine with me, but I also need consenus from at least one other staff. (Nerd-boy or NeonFTW if I remember). Nerd isn't here ATM, so I'll get Neon.
Anyway, for your question:
Yes, it's not hard. You simply use a OutputStream to write to a .bat file that it creates with the new File().
Anyway, I'm on track of making a new mod. It takes .shematic files, and builds them as you move. It's basically import from SPC, but works in multi and is "legit".

Lol, In the newest version of pixelmon we implemented a system to have structures and villages spawn from schematic files. We beat you to it!
Awesome, very interesting concept
You might wanna make sure it locks the player location in and takes a certain amount of time depending on what the L*H*W is of the schematic. Just a suggestion (Although I'm sure you can handle your mod out your self :P)
Also. I coded that world lock, and I'd love to walk the one GUI Newbie through it.

Looks very interesting. The problem with writing a .bat file to lock the folder in .minecraft\saves is that it will only work on a windows computer (wont it?) so we would need a different way of locking the folder on each platform..? Also - i would love to get on to Skype with you and learn but my dad has the whole 'don't talk to strangers' thing and timing might be a problem due to time zones (i'm at +13 UTC/GMT). I'll ask anyway because he might let me now i'm 15...
I've decided to teach myself block modeling, and after my first model (an incredibly dull four-legged table) proved to be a success, I started working on this:
A WWI-style water-cooled machine gun! When right-clicked, it follows the player's movement as long as you stay within a 3-block radius. It doesn't fire yet, but it's progress.
Anyone really know how to do entity stuff?
Not mobs, entities. Or rendered GL11 components. I'm terrible at those things, and am trying to get better. (Unsuccessfully).
wow very impressive looking

And your features there look awesome as well man.,

Don't down yourself, you do a great job on your mods, whether you have fancy outlines on entites or fancy models
also, felt like posting another image on what I've been doing:

Ah, but mine you define one in a GUI, and it builds it in realtime, like a bot. Ant it requires the materials.

Here is my model, renderer and entity class for my waypoint. Setting up the enetity really depends if you are using modloader or Forge.
