I was wondering if anyone has the issue of semi-transparent items while they hold them? I have quite a few mods installed and I managed to get them to all play nicely together. Based on these mods and the pictures I am attaching; does anyone have an idea what could cause it?

The first 2 images are of vanilla minecraft objects, and the last 2 are of mod items. They look all messed up, lol.
That is really weird, it might be something to do with the texture pack. Whatever texture pack you are using then it might have to have a patcher with it then it will fix all problems with the texturing.
I noticed that on one of Mojangs videos on youtube (survival island ep 1) and they had the custom shaders too, so I think it has something to do with that mod
I installed the Sphax texture packs for almost everything I have. I know not all of them are complete, and I am not really sure how texturing works in the game, but it would seem odd that in the same game world vanilla object are fine with the textures, but mod objects are transparent.
Damn you DOF why do I love you so much! ....I think I am going to have to abandon GLSL until this issue gets fixed. That tree tap object just doesn't look right, lol.Anyone know if there is an easy way to uninstall all the shaders stuff so I don't have to go through remodding a vanilla minecraft.jar file again?

Solved it! It was most definitely GLSL. I found out how to get rid of it without too much of a headache. Hopefully soon it will be supported a little better, but I love what they are doing so far!
