Building with worldedit sucks cuz you get 0 respect from your builds ...Yes it takes allot more time to do it but it is allot more better then worldedit i dont know why are there even tools like world edit and mcedit
You must be ignorant as all hell.... What if you wanted to turn a massive area into flatland? Boom, WE it in about 10 seconds, but if you actually spend your time carving the land... hours. And yes, you still get respect for your builds, as all big/massive/good builds have used WE, MCedit, or Voxel Sniper at some point.
So this is why i cant install WorldEdit... my Minecraft is 1.1
Ho well im just gonna wait... i build something that reached the sky and now i need to lower it, lol.

Thanks, my point is to level grounds.. Set grass... Replace tiles. So on!

Try to make 256 x 256 x 63 sandstone platform on 1 layer of bedrock without spc, mcedit or something like that (in survival mode).
THEN say what you think about tools like worldedit and mcedit.
I agree that MC Edit is good, but only to a certain extent, I personally use it for the outline, such as the exterior walls, and foundation of builds, such as a 90X90X5 platform of sandstone on water for a Pyramid

Or do what I did and build a 1,500x50x1,200 block structure by hand then realize that all during it's construction you got the proportions wrong of several of the rooms. Try moving that by hand after you have spent over 4 weeks building it just that SMALL section of a much larger project. I spent over 6 months working on that thing, building it by hand, and it is still not even 1/3rd complete. I gave in once this issue came up and used WE to fix the structure so I didn't have to redo weeks and even months of work. I respect other people's work, even if they did use WE. If you don't, well that's your arrogance getting in the way and you not seeing value in others' hard work. Its actually difficult to use these tools to make something that doesn't look like junk, terrain for certain. Not everyone is going to use these tools just to build entirely from them. Some instead use the more core tools to fix mistakes that if fixed normally by hand would cripple any large build project. So quite frankly, people with your attitude are the ones that I have 0 respect for.
Still haven't seen a 1.1 version, really puts a bind on my thoughts of building in creative again.

I think everyone should just shut the hell up saying that Quagiee should shut up. The fact is, all of you are missing the point of minecraft. The point of it is to build massive structures and then once you're finished you can think of how long it took and can be proud of it. Bloody hell, i built a 100x50x10 (LxWxH) colosseum in survival and flattened out that much land. yes it took a helluva long time but it was so worth it in the end. Minecraft is about enjoying building stuff block by block. thats my opinion anyway.
