While no light-variable is built into the entity class, and you therefore can't do it in a simple way, it is certainly possible to simulate it. What you want to do, on every tick, is to check the position of your entity. Find the block in which the entity is currently, and set the light-level of that block to the desired light-value.
Hmm...
Could you show me how? I'm not very good at modding :/ Or at least tell me how to change a block's light value, and how to check the block and entity is in, I can work from there.

Please?
OK, where could I look to help me find out how to do this???
I'm not a java whiz, like you. I love your tutorials, by the way.
I'm not some expert coder who can pull any sort of code out of his brain.
Replacing the block it's in with a new, invisible block with a light level, then removing the old one and making a new one?
Well why are you attempting to mod in the first place? you need to know some java..
I said I'm not a whiz.
Hey wait.
You're the guy who said I copypasted my whole mod :C
Sorry, no one had posted for ~2 days. I thought the thread was dead.
OK, so that will work? Thanks.
