I'm having trouble spawning bobjects. iam using the "harbor" settings, although i turned on custom objects and increased the global tree density to 15 and set notchbiometrees to true. my bo2 has a 1000 rarity, and spawns on all biomes on all materials. yet i cant seem to find it anywhere. if anyone can help that would rock.

Im so extremely sad. I just found this mod and <3 it so much but I can't use it with my yogbox installation *sad pixel block face*. I can't figure out the mod in yogbox thats breaking it either. sigh.
Very nice work everyone. I've been playing with the world gen a little on a clean install of minecraft and its so much fun.
Actually got it to work. Installed optifine ~> phoenix terrain editor ~> yogbox then SPC and TMI and it works. I'll post up on any cool worlds I make =0)

I am looking for a map that its plain up the top (maybe even filled from max height) but focuses on caves and open underground caverns.
I want a map for my server that is entirely underground for mining and mainly so we can build a Dwarven underground city.
Ideally I would like wide open areas underground, but not everywhere (not just a floating island above), so we can build the city and follow cave systems for mining.
So I was just wondering, before I go poking around at the settings, does anyone know how to achieve this?
Another thing that would be ideal would be to have resources in larger groups but harder to find (eg so you have a coal mine or a iron mine, not just little groups everywhere).

2)All old settings (except hell variables) work in bukkit version as it was
3)Also bukkit version have another block repalce format.
4)Lines look like "<...>" - ignored, it is only for better view.
5)Bukkit version also add some new settings
I need help with my minecraft server. It keeps generating maps that have huge flat plateaus at 128 height, resulting it epic mountains that are crap at the top. What settings in the terrain mod prevent/cause this? I want these epic floating land masses, but i dont want it to reach 128 height, or rather if it does, its the peak

-With the water level at only 16, I was aiming the get the biggest, yet most appealing cliffs I could get. I didn't really want floating islands, or overhangs too large, so I think I did well. Stretching from the limit to bedrock, it is hard to render the entire cliffs without getting too much fog, but I tried. The landscape is covered in lots of valleys. Some with water at the bottom. Some without. Some with overhangs obscuring the sky (Which I really didn't want, but only some of them are like that.) Most are very spacious, with ample space to build, but some can be narrow. I really like the "stacked plates" look most of the cliffs have. I did not change the ores, biomes, or trees from the default. (I did turn the custom objects to false)
I only tested two seeds, so I can't really guarantee these results, but I don't really see anything else coming out of the configuration.

I don't really see a way I can get the cliffs I like with out having overhangs. As long as not ALL of the valleys have huge over hangs I'm fine. :smile.gif:

How would you go about limiting the block height so it doesnt look so blatently cut off at 128? I would much prefer it being lower so it allows for building and stuff.
well after a couple of day tweaking with the text file I finaly came across this. an amazing landscape full of towering clifs, rolling planes, deep caverns, lots of forest and the perfect map for a fantasy city.
Anyone found a way to lower the average height? I basically want the ground to be 20 blocks lower, to give more air space for building, and less underground. All the settings I tried alters how hilly the world becomes, but it seems to return to 65Y or so no matter what I set.
I'm looking for one to use in a post apocalyptic server. I want it to have barely any trees, lots of sand, little water but still have rivers, and have a few mountains. It's supposed to be from a nuclear war.
I've been playing around with the bukkit version and 1.8.1 breaks this mod due to the new land generation. I'm going to try forcing the old land generation and see if that helps.

I've tried many different configurations but still cant get continents... Only lots of large islands with lots of small lakes. >.<
Here is a render of my best attempt.
It's circular map with 5000 radius and center in 0,0.
Also I've decreased minerals amount by ~ 1/3 and tried to make large mountains.
And my config:
