Ok, I need help figuring out how to make the TooManyItems mod work. No, I am not a cheater, I only use this on one world I call Cheatland, as I do in every game I play. I usually have e cheated file, just for the fun of it!!!!
Ok, so I don't know how to get it into my Minecraft game. I downloaded the mod, but I don't know what to do from there. I also put the game's shortcut into the TooManyItems folder, and when I ran the game it asked me if I wanted to extract files, and this didn't do anything. I know you have to press 'O' to make it work, but that did nothing. I have the Beta 1.5_01 version of Minecraft, and the same version of TooManyItems.
I don't think anyone gives a damn if you cheat anyway, by the way. Also, thought I'd comment this; I find singleplayer commands more fun to screw around with. I assume you want that just for the TNT though or something.

Good point. I do too, but I find it not ok to fiddle aroud with your first successful account.
Try this:
Get modloader
Go to %appdata% using run
Find .minecraft
Go to bin
Use 7zip to open minecraft.jar
Put the modloader files in there
Delete META-INF
Run minecraft
If it does not blackscreen before the Mojang logo, repeat for TMI
Basicly, Install TMI if no blackscreen, the same way as modloader and test.
If no blackscreen, done! Test in-game. If not working, You screwed up. :biggrin.gif:

Watch how I beat the living lights out of a creeper
I use singleplayer commands + TooManyItems for my TestMap, which I use for messing around and doing mod things.
I love my piston trap. Plonk it next to a spawner.
On topic: READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!
EDIT: Fixed the "Many" in TooManyItems.

As soon as you find diamond.
You run.
You run fast.
You run not caring what else is back there.
You run because creepers know you found diamond.
You run because lava knows you found diamond.
Run.

And I think nost mods are cheating. Just me, though.
Except maybe the "you become the creeper" one.

OT: Try deleting META-INF or force update your minecraft then try re-installing the mod, or do you have the latest version of Modloader?

I have two work in progress resource packs!
This is the second one!
And of course, by "work-in-progress" I mean "will never, ever be completed".
