Well then you should have made this post AFTER you fixed all of the code and got at least a download up, or better yet some pics/video.
Oh, and format your title correctly. viewtopic.php?f=1032&t=199755
You know, there's really no need for all the hostility. People post a thread like this when their mod is imminent to release all the time. I'm sure that pics and the download will become available in short order... and everyone will be happy. Jumping down a new modder's throat immediately is -hardly- the way to inspire a sense of community...
... and on that note, I offer my sincerest welcome to you, Bayde! I'm sure you'll make a valuable member of the cultish phenomenon that is the Minecraft Modding Forums.
Try not to let the negativity and standoff-ishness get to you... there really are some friendly and supportive people around here. Honest.
I'll keep an eye out for when this mod is officially released... but in the meanwhile, putting up some random screenshots of unrelated things which vaguely look like they could be a part of your mod would probably serve well to shut up the folks who'll come in here and holler about it (despite there not actually being anything to download yet in the first place).
Just be sure to get something, even buggy, up for download reasonably soon... or they might bump you out of Released Mods, despite your imminent claims.
To keep you inspired, I have brought these gifts:
All the materials you will need to craft a bed, a workbench, and begin farming for sustenance.
Cheers!

Showing My Support! Great Work Deserves Great Appreciation!
To all the people that are telling him (or her) to move this.
How about giving some positive (or negative) feedback? say something that you do like (or would like) and something you don't like about this, if one person says that the mod needs to be moved it doesn't mean ten others have to do the same, because that's classified as spamming. Yes the mods not released but feedback always helps.
To the creator of the mod.
I'm looking foreword to seeing a town built before my eyes, but maybe do something like making the block have obsidian in the middle and diamond around it.
Also please don't fill chest with three sets of diamond armor or something like that, and if you do have armor at make it leather please. Iron swords should be fine though.
Expect a diamond coming your way :smile.gif:

Except there's nothing we can give as far as feedback. Sure, we can say what we want, but who knows what kind of coder he is? Hell, we don't even know if this is real! He could post some more info, maybe some dev screenshots, put some frickin effort into the thread? This guy deserves spam, and nothing more.

If this was fake he wouldn't just say whats soon to be and be done with it, he would most likely have a fake download link that's really just a virus or screamer (although a screamers usually only are during April 1st), also spamming isn't just rude its against the rules, and I hope to see you not breaking those rules, but if you really want to spam, go ahead see what happens, but don't go saying something like "I was spamming because misterjscape told me too"
and what I meant by feedback was something like this "this looks like it will be great! I'm looking foreword to seeing this finished"
something to tell him this isn't going to be a bad mod and that he shouldn't give up. or "this doesn't seem like it will be that good" to tell him that it IS bad and that he should work on something else.
