i know a lot of people probable ask this but i need some help adding my mods it seems there's a lot id like to use but the more i seem to use the less i seem to be able to do sometimes the game just crashes after logging in i know the mods work because i use them one at a time and they all work fine but when i start using 3 or 4 things get messed up i have followed the installing videos (when there are videos) so i was wondering if someone would be willing to walk me though a way to have them all up at once or if they want to add me to msn and i could send the mods and they could install and send the .jar back

this is suposedly the thing that gets fixed by modloader because when you copy and paste the class files into the jar file then it overites it heres an example. bob here made a new block called ruler joe over here made a block called ruby ore which has its own items crafting recipies and smelting. now say you want joes mod and you put the class files in your jar then you say hey i want to measure my minecraft world and you put bobs Block.class and his BlockRuler.class but it overwrites the block id and parameters from joes and thats where the error comes in but modloader makes it so that they are simpley added to the file instead of it being changed. hope this helps!!
modloader handles ore generation, but by the looks of it, there could be several problems, mostly id conflicts, or if your trying to use industrialcraft with a lot of other mods, remember that industrialcraft adds a lot of items, thus it takes up a lot of the item sprites, while there are 32000 possible item ids, there are only 256 possible sprites for them, and they get taken up really fast, if you try to add too many mods that add items, then youll run out of item sprites and itll crash
again, post a crash message and if you dont get one, then run the game from the command line, without that, i cant help you specifically

Hey, let me jump onto this. If we are apparently out of "item sprites," as said above, what can we do? Is there any way to install more item sprites, or could that ever be added in future update? It seems like a very low number.
A lack of item sprites should surely be something most mod creators would want fixed, together.

ahh ok i understand that but how can you tell whats wrong with a mod for example i use the more flowers and it wont load around me so when i go to explore if i go more then 100 blocks away from the spawn point the game will then crash like normal only the window closes aswel and thats putting everything into the .jar file
Useful reply, buildmaster. And yes, I do love the big mods, especially now that Rai has started forcing plasti and indust. crafts to collaborate. So you're saying we should encourage shockrah to work on that, or just wait, or not download big mods. I guess those are all fair.

what about some mods that have really anoying addins like the builder craft how the NPCs will run around building random little towns now normally i dont mind it and all as long as they stay off the area im working but for the most part id just want the trade shops they build is there a way to just have thos built like in coley craft how you build a box for them?
also i do love big mods aswel lol i like using the indus craft but i dont seem to have much room left after it and i havent really found any few things in the mod i enjoy :/ i think we need like a million empty sprites and stuff lol there are to many amazing mods people make
now i know this will sound lazy but its annoying me that i cant seem to get it right but if i sent like all the files i wanted in my mine craft would someone be willing to put them in properly im also open to using team viewer or skype to be walked though everything
thanks but i have been doing that and cant get the error report all the time also some mods i REALLY wana use are not for the latest MC for example the one mod with the foxes (forget the name its saved somewhere) its for 1.2 and the owner has no intention of updating said mod
