A: was the map you played it on a empty map before you deleted it, if it was , delete the world save file outside of the game
B:Did you just put the map your world files?
C:if the map was working properly the map should have a description execpt the most recent one i made (assylum)

I have just added what was missing, so if it already had a description i didn't do anything with that. About the pictures if you want to make the map picture work you just take a photo in the dimension of your liking then you open that picture in a image editor and resize it to 128X128. i use this program http://www.sumopaint.com/home/ this is a free to use image editor you don't even have to download.
Would you guys like to have an RPG style map? I started one, so far only having 3 classes to choose from and a small town/village. It uses the mayan temple island though, which is pretty cool.
So should I continue working on the dungeon, or do a bit of the RPG?
A slightly... easier to understand tutorial for making maps able to be put in /maps.
1. Take map and rename it from World1 or whatever to it's actual name (e.g. Lost Miner)
2. Rename Map.txt to description and change what's inside to a description
3. Find a picture that fits your map and resize it to 128x128
4. Take the terrainmap.png and biomemap.png from whatever map you started building on (most likely biometest) and put it in the folder
5. You are done! simply put it in /maps and play!
Oh yes, and papareborn, I think the rpg thing sounds really cool. I think you should work on that.

Also, here is what I have finished so far:
-Underground spawning area, where players choose their class
-Hall of rewards. This building give players different rewards for completing quests.
-Fishing dock. entry into the underwater temple.
-Old bart's house. Sort of like the, "here is your goal" place.
-Paths
I have a bunch of temples planned for the future. These include:
-Obviously a forest/jungle temple
-Underwater temple
-Deep mine temple
-Sky temple (Probably the final temple, with a huge final boss)
I also almost finished the classes, and which items each class will use. There will be:
-Two types of warriors.
---Battler, lots of hearts, better armor. Weaker weapons.
---Hero, less hearts and armor than battler, but better attack (diamond sword)
-Two types of wizards.
---Flame spirit, uses fire and lava to burn down his enemies
---Overlord, uses explosives and physical power to take down his enemies
---Thinking about changing how these wizards fight.
-One type of archer, until more content is released.
So I'll start a thread, and post progress on there, instead of spamming this one with constant "Finished that" posts.

When I spawned I had an inventory of items, like the cursor, hammer, and such, and I couldn't find anything! I wandered a bit, found a chest in the smithy's shop, then found a sign saying I had completed the dungeon! WHAT?!?!

How do i install these maps? I can do it easily for normal minecraft, but using winrar to extract them give me the eroor message "! C:\Documents and Settings\ChrisC\My Documents\Downloads\MODS\MAPS\ADVENTURECRAFT MAPS\The Lost Miner.zip: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged"

Sorry, but I don't test them before putting them up. If I test it and find it unbeatable, I will send a PM to the creator and remove it until he fixes it. I can't test any of the new maps though because I can't use the new installer for some reason, so I'm using the older AdventureCraft.

I realise these maps arent for normal minecraft. i have downloaded and succesfully installed adventurecraft, but what i was wondering is how to install the maps. the way i do it for normal minecraft maps does not work, so could you please tell me what to do with the . zip files ive downloaded?
If the file is named "World#" and doesn't have the terrainmap, biomemap or thumbnail, toss it in the saves in the adventurecraft/.minecraft/saves folder, start adventurecraft and go to that save. If it DOES have the maps, toss it in the adventurecraft/maps folder, start a new world and pick it from the map chooser.

A note:
Maybe you should reset all the triggers before releasing the map next time. Half the triggers didn't work. Plus, after the dungeon that had the lava in the last room, you should put the spawner on the platform, rather than in the air, so that we can actually COLLECT the heart container if we won, which I couldn't because it didn't even spawn.
