After using it for a while, I do have a suggestion: could you make the clay more red-ish? because it blends way too well with the cobblestone now. :tongue.gif:
I really like this texture pack, really nice to look at.
The only problem I had was when I tried to actually apply it. I put the .zip file in the texturepacks folder in the minecraft folder, and the pack appeared in the Mods and Texture Packs List, but the picture was greyed out and I couldn't apply it. I solved this by extracting the .zip file, and re-compressing it.
Also, once I installed the 2 recommended mods, I can't change the texture pack back to the original one (not that I want to). If I delete the mods folder and minecraft.jar, will this return my Minecraft back to default and redownload clean files? (keeping my saves)

You mean make the bricks more red? I suppose I can do that.
I love how this (and it's precursor the Solid Style pack) looks outdoors, but underground, the solid stone color makes the default Minecraft step-wise lighting really stand out as artificial, and even worse I found that having all the stone blocks looking like separate shades of gray depending on how well lit they were really messed with my sense of direction and I kept getting confused about where I was and where I'd been.
I'll have to retry this if I start playing with the better-light mod.
Thanks for making and sharing this. I wonder if you might consider doing something with the ores so they fit the solid theme better? Not sure what. Maybe a single square of color in the middle of the stone block?
Glad you like the pack enough to edit it for your own use!
Yeah, I'll definitely change the clay color in the actual pack, though I'll leave the obsidian and bedrock the way they are now so people can customize them however they please or keep them the way they are, as I don't know for sure any too-much-better textures/colors for the too, as I've seen obsidian in packs both black and purple, though the bedrock with the cobble pattern definitely looks nice!
I've also thought of making the main-screen into the solid color as well, I guess maybe I should?

Ah yes, this pack for made strictly for BetterLight as the default lighting does not favor bright colors, especially not underground.
And I've thought about that, though I kind of like the idea of keeping the pack as the default, just with clean-fresh colors.
The reason people are having problems with your zip in the texturepacks folder is because your zip contains a folder with the content in it. You should put your content in the root level of the zip, not in a directory.
But thanks for your efforts. I like it, enjoying it now.
Hm. Im working on a texture pack thats kinda like this. I was accually thinking about doing this. But I then reput my idea from this to inhaling colors.
After the 1.2 update, the texture pack went away, so I redownloaded it, repatched it etc. Still looks awesome. But I don't know whether this is a bug or not, but the top face of furnaces are PURPLE? Before I redownloaded it, it was grey, so I think this is a bug.
Omg, I love this pack! The only issue I have with it is that the pig looks like it has huge gashes on its back and sides could you remove those to keep the theme of simpleness

Bottom line, great texture pack!

Glad you guys still enjoy it!
Tell me if there's anything else that's new that needs to be changed, I only updated the texture.png so far.
The .zip now works just by dropping it into your Texture Pack folder now. Sorry for the previous inconveniences I never addressed!
