I dont by any stretch of the imagination have a good now-a-days computer and the problem i have with a lot of the texture packs is while they look absolutely amazing, they tend to slow the game down to the point to where i have to have fog a foot in front of me and therefore cant enjoy the texture pack. What i love about this pack is that it looks great and makes the game on my computer run smooth without fog. So to shorten this up, thanks and great work, keep it going.
Ones brown and ones a shade of green
What version are you using as I made leaves brighter in one of them. I'll increase the brightness some more if it's that big of a problem.
Oh yeah and what was the issue with gravel now. If you could be more specific and maybe give me a screenshot of how you've fixed it I may be able to do something about it.
I have to admit that although I adore how this looks outside in the sun, underground I find it too confusing to navigate in caves. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's the way that, without any other details to give the stone unity, my brain thinks that each shade of darkness as you move away from a torch is a different kind of block. Or something.
I'm not saying you should change anything, but I thought you'd be interested in my reaction.
Not alot I can do about that per block shading. I ain't a programmer.(well actually I am but not java). I don't think there is any way texture wise for me to fix that sort of problem without ruining the point of this pack. I will however look into a different way of shading that isn't per block when not in sunlight.
I have retextured everything I could find. As for the gravel I'm demoing stuff now. Doesn't seem too bad. But to make it look allright the spots have to be really light. You'd barely notice them. But it might be enough.
Pretty much. Just worries me that it might have such a little impact that it might not be worth it. I'll see though. I'm having trouble distinguishing the two now. But it is 3AM.
Custom Water/Custom Lava. Of course, that is up to you :wink.gif:
