Easiest way to uninstall mods from minecraft is to delete the "bin" folder in your /.minecraft/ appdata directory, then run minecraft.exe to redownload everything (don't worry, your save files are safely kept in a separate folder)
If you don't know how to find the application data directory on your computer, google it.
thank you your a life saver :smile.gif:
Stop! You have violated the law!
Don't delete the /bin file, if you do that, your minecraft wont even run (At least for me). Instead, go into the /bin folder, and delete the version file, then run minecraft, it'll redownload the vanilla files and wont screw the whole thing up.

Dude deleting the bin folder and not just the Minecraft.jar file works i tried just deleting the file hoping for a faster download.
Alright, so back when this worked, I tried setting this up for a SMP server for me and a friend, but was stumped with this step:
"2) Run the minecraft server with the following command line:
java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -cp BiomeTerrainMod_SMP_v11_2.jar;minecraft_server.jar net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer"
I have no idea what any of this means or how to do it. If anyone could help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it. =)
Anyone? =/
I assume you're running this on a windows machine.
1] Download the .jar version of the server. (you may not have to do this, I don't know how the executable version works)
2] Make a new .bat file
3] Right click the new batch file and go to edit
4] put this in and save it.
@echo on
cd C:\Minecraft
java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -cp BiomeTerrainMod_SMP_v11_2.jar;minecraft_server.jar net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer
5] Run the batch file.
You may have to replace "cd C:\Minecraft" with whatever directory you're using.
For those having issues: HOW TO GET THIS WORKING WITH LAND GENERATOR These are instructions for WINDOWS users, as linux users would already know how to operate command lines. =P
•Download the Minecraft_server.jar, the SMP Biome mod and the Land generator and place them in the same folder.
•configure your biome mod to what you want
• create a blank txt file in the same folder as everything else and paste this in:
The first part should be a path to your JAVA instalation. Change the numbers at the end of your file to the dimensions you want to generate. Now name this file Servergen.bat
• Run the Servergen.bat file, and wait for it to finish.

Ok, so I did that and CMD prompt comes up for about 1/10th of a second, I can barely read anything and it closes. No map generated.
I don't think using the land generator will help with getting the BiomeTerrain mod to work with the latest Minecraft, but it would be useful to run with an older version, copying the map over to the newest version and then using a plugin such as borderlands to stop people from exploring too far and generating default terrain.
Can someone make me a world with the Sky Gardens (located page one on here viewtopic.php?f=25&t=93573) settings and upload it for me? I will love you long time if you do :3 (and please make sure to generate as large ammount of the world as you're willing to do)

Oh, well I can already load it in single player and transfer the map over with the same effect.

Aweeee sh*t! Thanks Master! That's great. I can't wait to give this a try in combo with BiomeTerrain. This should significantly reduce SMP chunk load time on what would have been 'new' areas, right? Esp with extreme settings.
Can someone explain this to me a little more? I've tried getting this to work but it seems its being used slightly different by different people. Is this supposed to just generate the map once then I use that 5000x5000 map for multiplayer and dont explore past that area? Also can someone post an example of their exact .bat & .conf files that they used to get this to work?

I think it is worth putting a link right here for this.
