There needs to be a way to collect passing empty minecarts while also allowing the chest to dispense minecarts.
Minecart mania on smp is currently majorly bugged.
Minecarts are vanishing after 10 seconds, minecarts constantly vanish and then reappear, and chests always dispense carts in the same direction regardless of what the sign says.
But keep up the good work. I hope to see a bug free Minecart Mania soon =D
EDIT: Do the directions have to be capitalized like "North" or is it "north"?
The commands on signs can be capitalized or lowercase, doesn't matter. As for the "bugs" on SMP, care to elaborate? I've heard no actual bug reports yet.
OK bug that I found is that every time I make a mine cart go into a chest it turns into a diamond block O.o not really bad but I'm running out of mine carts -.-

Alright, the latest download should fix that. Sorry about that bug.
Is this compatible with server version 0.2.8 running the fixed hMod 130? Not sure whether I'm doing something wrong, but the plugin's not loading properly.
Minecart Mania seems to not work when using it with MCAdmin. If I patch the .class files into the minecraft-server.jar, it does nothing because MCAdmin updates the server every time it's run. If I put them into the mcadmin/mods/minecart folder, as the documentation suggests, it again does nothing. No errors, mind you, but for instance cloth is not a direction changer and gold is not a booster. I also use hMod with my MCAdmin, so I have also tried putting the MinecartMania.jar file in MCAdmin/plugins, and changing the corresponding plugin setting in server.properties. This is the only action that gives me any feedback, in the form of an error: "[SEVERE] Exception while loading plugin," and again the mod has no effect in game after this.
Does anyone have any experience getting it working with MCAdmin+hMod? I have tried version 2.1a through 2.1f now to no avail.

I dont think MinecartMania's working with the newest Heyo's (for .2.8)
I get:

It only works with 0.2.7 ATM. I'm working on a 2.8 version.

May have been brought up but on the server I use when i realease a minecart from a box it just stays there. Even with a booster it just stops in between 1st and 2nd track. Also when I tried making it release to the south it just stayed between 1st track and the box. Idk why its not working. Everything else works fine. Gold launches, obsidian and everything works. Just that which ruins the entire system.

That's the way it is supposed to work. You need to launch carts with obsidian once they've been dispensed by a chest.
Awesome mod. One thing I noticed is that it is really annoying running redstone wire into a storage chest with an obsidian block next to it. The connection only works if the wire is going directly into the chest. If I try to put the same wire to the obsidian and the chest right next to each other, it routes the piece right next to the chest toward the one by the obsidian and the connection is broken. I have to route the wire to the other side and power the chest and the obsidian block from opposite sides. Its really annoying. Anyone have a better way to do this?
Also it would be really cool to see an example world that uses all of the features.
Where's the configuration file if I want to enable Autocart mode on a Mac? I've replaced the files in the jar, the game launches so I assume everything's fine, but there is no config file in Application Support/minecraft. Do I need to install Autocart for it to work?
Thanks for any help, this is the first mod I install...
ppplease tell me the 1.2.5 works with 1.2.6 i dont think there were major changes to the animals in the latest patch
I released a 1.2.6 version. The 1.2.5 version did not work for 1.2.6.

No idea, on servers it will be where the Minecraft_Server.jar is, otherwise it will be in the /minecraft folder.
If the track is straight, there's no need for extra track in order for the cart to keep running, under autocart. i.e. lay one piece of track and place the cart, get it, and it will carry on going over regular cobblestone.
This is 2.1f, I see you've released another version. Is this deliberate or a bug? (I see nothing re this in the wiki linked in OP).

Did make a system for doing dispensing then a delay circuit prior to launching the cart, though the whole system took up too much room (4 wide 6-8 long 5 high) and even more if you'd want a longer delay that I just gave up and did manual launching. Anyhow mostly done away with the obsidian launchers for the most part unless there's no room to do a push start since the largest problem I have with obsidians is they generally launch in the wrong direction. Even if it's in the right direction and you're using the same track for return carts, it just doesn't work since pressing the button would launch it in the opposite direction of where you wanna go. Hold for X signs sorta work if you need to do push starts, however the signs only work if an occupant's inside so if you're returning a cart on that track, you'll need to stay in to stash the cart in the box.
Would love if you could Hold for X with then do a launch rather than a continue, since hold for X actually does conserve your vector.
Bugs:
Made a double chest, well first the cart goes into the bottom 1/2 of the chest, and dispenser doesn't really seem to catch anything cept the top row.
Turned on autocart for SMP, cart gibbed straight into the chest and got stuck unable to get out, so turned autocarts back off.
Not entirely sure if this is a bug or just a mechanics issue, can't dispense carts down slopes, which would really be helpful setting them up and all.
Other notes, minecarts seem alot slower since the past week's updates when normal boosters essentially stopped working for me, not sure if this is related.

I can confirm that I have the same (or a very similar) issue with chests. Before, I had a setup where empty carts would return from the North and dispense West, which I set via a sign ("west" on the sign). This worked fine 24 hours ago, using the first MinecartMania-for-hmod release, but since the latest version, carts no longer dispense properly. The seem to 'jump' North to the nearest available track.
For what it is worth, the Westbound dispense lane starts on an inclined track such that the carts would accelerate downward once dispensed. Also, this is in SMP.
Thanks for the awesome mod and all the debugging you're doing as issues come up. Definitely improves minecraft SMP 100%.

Lol, you're right. One sec, I'll correct that.

I just released a 131 version for 0.2.8. Enjoy.
