Can't wait till it's done, like other people have been saying, this will replace mixcraft for me.
I think I just died a little on the inside... *cries*
To be honest, this is WAAAAAY too high definition for my tastes
I like the simplicity of minecraft
I still like yours too, there both good in there own way - see were yours is excellent for getting down and improving the ROOTS so to speak this is one is best at showing off what HD is about.
Good to see iv helped - btw that wood does look a lot better, Might want to adjust a little to add some of flavor if u get time just like color tone and the little stuff, The garvel looks much better its now seamless yes tho your going to hate me for this....
try and blend out that dark rock, you can see its in the shape of a sideways L that the only part that first stands out about that gravel now the seams are perfect, This just one of those things u need to use the photoshop tools for like the stamp and blur retouch tools. I'm sure will notice what im talking about the L repeats on every block that would look gastly when layed down over a distance, Remember the AIM of the game is to make the new textures as seamless as possible and blended well, so anything that for lack of a better expression 'sticks out like dogs balls" will deter from the quality.
p.s the new water is a lot better as well and im gald u decided to move with the sand i posted up.
As always just let me know via a PM if would like help gathering samples somtimes its better to have different points of opinion on the sample ur thinking about as well. If you need help with getting the lava and water animated drop me a line as well tho I dont know minecrafts specifics like how many frames and sizes but I can adjust to the specs & deminsions if you let me know about them.
did you end using that minetrack over on souls page if you issues finding it ill grab a direct link for you.
This is very likely the best texture pack that there will every be in minecraft.
In my opinion of course. Great work on this Texture pack, and good luck with it.
Thanks for adding the finished wood. Now if you could do that for everything built out of wood, I'd be even happier.
I do agree that the natural stone should be a bit lighter. From far away I'd have a hard time telling it apart from dirt. It looks GREAT up close, and I mean really great, but yeah, from far away, no bueno.
Is your water and lava going to be able to flow normally, or will we have to use the fix? Using the fix replaces the water/lava with the default water/lava, iirc. From your screenshots it doesn't look like bricks/gold blocks have the fire bug on them. Is this something you figured out, or will we have to use the fix for that as well?
i can't wait to try this texture pack!,
ha the wait is killing me, but then again i really haven't played minecraft because i am waiting for the halloween update but still you should release this as it is updated xD.
Well I would, but
1) All un finished texture are white blocks (Because im making it from scratch)
and
2) I update 3-4 times a day with important new textures so it would be annoying to have to patch every 2 hours or so =P
Heh, if 2.5 hours is considered rushing =P
But yea, I put 4x4's on everything, just cause it looks like its handmade by the player in minecraft.
I could put a little sail boat trim around it or something, but that makes it seem like a factory made it rather than a guy with a few planks of wood :smile.gif:

It's better to have tried Mixcraft and left, then never to have tried Mixcraft at all.

And yea V6 is out with
-New Crafting Box
-New Furnace
-New TNT
This took over 3 hours to finish these 3 objects, hope you enjoy the art.
@Evra, Your gonna like this... The new TNT and Crafting box are made with the same wood.
And yea the texture set will require the fix, ill provide a link to it when finished.

-Just my view =P
Also, by using the fix, won't it get rid of your water and lava?
