I like the idea of anteaters, which has already been suggested. But perhaps there could also be pangolins, which would be much like anteaters, but would spawn mostly in desert biomes, and would hurt the player, or any other entity, upon making physical contact. You could also have termites, which would spawn in swarms and attack wooden blocks, such as planks, or chests. Pangolins and anteaters could eat the termites and protect your house (Perhaps have them be tameable?)
No, they're just a widely suggested mob. Same as all of the others you've mentioned. The list of mob suggestions on the first page just doesn't update every all the time to accommodate every single suggestion.
I was playing with my cat when I had this weird idea... As usual, I made it enormous. : P
Flerrs
Appearance: A serpentine creature with a white, braided looking body with special colored feathers and/or “streamers” and one golden eye with a scarlet head. Sometimes the coloring is referenced to a koi. They hold their upper half erect and will coil up when sleeping.
Behavior: Very friendly, slithers normally, characteristic flopping and hopping movements when attacked. Feathers and streamers determine what abilities it has. Flerrs chirp and buzz like cicadas.
Taming and Keeping:
Since Flerrs are so friendly, taming them is just a matter of finding and feeding them. Flerrs can spawn anywhere, but are herbivores, specifically for fruit. A Flerr can be tamed instantly with a Golden Apple. Apples tame them halfway, and Melon Slices partway. Flerrs enjoy Pumpkin Pie and Sugar. Flerrs can eat Pumpkins(tames them the same as Melon Slices) and Sugar Cane(slowest way to tame them). Overall, in order of most effective to least effective:
Golden Apple
Pumpkin Pie
Sugar
Apple
Melon Slices/Pumpkin
Sugar Cane.
Flerrs can be bred by leaving them away from other Flerrs(about 10 blocks) for a full day. The room must have a Nest in it(crafting below). Eventually, the Nest will have a Flerr Egg in it. You can leave it in the Nest, and it will soon hatch into a young Flerr(if you have a close light source). Or you can take it out and sell it or store it. You cannot eat Flerr Eggs or use them in place of Eggs in crafting recipes. You can't throw a Flerr Egg. Young Flerrs will follow you around until they are full grown.
You can command a Flerr of any age to stay or follow by opening up its personal inventory and checking the respective box. You can toggle a Flerr with an Ability Enhancer's special abilities in this menu. You can also equip your Flerr by placing the upgrades in the respective slots. You stack an upgrade in its slot to compound its effects. Items that can only be worn alone and/or cannot be compounded will not stack.

-Feathers-
Feathers can be made using shapeless recipes and given to tamed Flerrs to boost their abilities. Can be found on naturally spawning Flerrs. Feathers appear all over the Flerr's body. Feathers give more physical attributes to the Flerr. -Red Feathers: Red feathers allow Flerrs to do one more heart of damage. Is crafted using Redstone Dust and a Feather. -Orange Feathers: A Flerr without orange feathers cannot jump. These give them that ability. Is crafted using Blaze Powder and a Feather. -Yellow Feathers: A Flerr with a yellow feather can jump in midair. The more yellow feathers they have, the more midair jumps they can perform. They can't jump without an orange feather. Is crafted using Glowstone Dust and a Feather. -Green Feathers: Green feathers give Flerrs an extra heart of health(2 HP). Is crafted using any kind of Leaf block and a Feather. -White Feathers: White feathers allow the Flerr to respawn next to you if it dies. This consumes the feather in the process. White feathers are made using either Golden Apple and a Feather.
-Streamers-
Streamers are long ribbon-like feathers that are attached as a mane at the base of the Flerr's head. Can be found on naturally spawning Flerrs. Streamers give immunities and 2 HP to the Flerr. Streamers can be made by completely surrounding String with a storage block type and can be given to tamed Flerrs to boost their abilities, much like feathers. -Ruby Streamers: Gives fire and lava immunity. Is made with Redstone Blocks and String. -Sapphire Streamers: Gives the ability to breathe under water. Is made with Lapis Lazuli Blocks and String. -Emerald Streamers: The Flerr can survive poisoning. Is made with Emerald Blocks and String. -Gold Streamers: Flerrs can survive fall damage. Is made with Gold Blocks and String. -Silver Streamers: The Flerr can survive suffocation damage. Is made with Iron Blocks and String.
-Craft Only Objects-
These things can only be crafted and given to Flerrs. They boost abilities like Feathers and Streamers, but unlike them, these objects can be destroyed or lost and the Flerr will lose the boost. -Tail Extension: The Tail Extension gives the Flerr more speed. You can continuously add on extensions to make the Flerr increasingly faster. However, this takes down your Flerr's accuracy. Tail Extensions are crafted as such:
[][String][String]
[String][String][String]
[String][][String] -Club Tail: Club Tails give the Flerr more attack power(about 2 hearts). A Flerr can only have one Club Tail. This does take down your Flerr's evasion though. Club Tails are crafted like so:

[][Slime Ball][] -Greater Club Tail: An upgraded Club Tail. This increases the Flerr's attack power by 5 hearts, while having twice as much evasion cost. A Flerr can only have one of these. Is crafted like this:

[][Slime Ball][] -Heavy Scale Armor: Flerrs have scales to begin with, but they are much like skin: small enough to be flexible, but very easy to penetrate. Scale Armor takes away evasion and speed, but adds 10 plates(20 armor points) to your Flerr's defense. Flerrs can only have one of these. Crafted as shown:

[][Iron Block][Iron Ingot] -Light Scale Armor: Unlike Heavy Scale Armor, Flerrs don't have the speed penalty when wearing this, but they do have half the amount of defense(5 plates, 10 armor points). Can only wear one of these. Is crafted like so:

[][Iron Ingot][]

[Glass Pane][Eye of Ender][Glass Pane]
[Gold Nugget][Glass Pane][Gold Nugget] -Spike Armor: Unlike normal armor, which just raises defense, Spike Armor gives the Flerr the Thorn enchantment, meaning touching him will hurt you. He can only wear one. Is crafted like this:

-Ability Enhancers-
Ability Enhancers are gems that make Feather and Streamers boosts much more useful. They are found extremely rarely on naturally spawning Flerrs, and is imbedded in a Flerr's chest. Is crafted by surrounding a Nether Star with a particular item in a circle, like a compass or clock's crafting recipe. Flerrs with gems can also help their owners in a certain way, but only their owners! -Gem of Fire: Can only be used if the Flerr sports at least one Ruby Streamer and one Red Feather. This give the Flerr the ability to spit fire at foes. Is made using Fire(the block, not Flint and Steel or Lava Buckets!!) and a Nether Star. This Flerr can aid you by giving you fire and lava immunity when around it. -Gem of Water: Can only be used if the Flerr sports one Sapphire Streamer and one Orange Feather. This allows the Flerr to travel extremely fast over water. This Flerr can aid you by giving you water breathing and boosted speed when around it. -Gem of Earth: Can only be used if the Flerr sports at least one Emerald Streamer and one Green Feather. This gives the Flerr Regeneration. Is made using Grass and a Nether Star. This Flerr can aid you by giving you suffocation immunity and a much stronger defense. -Gem of Air: Can only be used if the Flerr sports at least one Gold Streamer and one Yellow Feather. This gives the Flerr the ability to actually fly, instead of hop about in the air. Is made using Glass and a Nether Star. This Flerr can aid you by giving you fall damage immunity and a jump boost. -Gem of Life: Can only be used if the Flerr sports at least one Silver Streamer and one White Feather. It allows the Flerr to respawn over and over and over again, instead of how many White Feathers it has. Is crafted using Glowstone and a Nether Star. This Flerr can aid you by healing you when you're around it and giving you wither immunity.

I would like to add my voice to those who wish to see more of the Mo'Creatures tamable. I definately wish I could tame the ducks and turkeys to keep on my farm, breeding them like chickens.
What I'd really like to see something like.. having the Mo'creatures not despawn an animal if the animal is on a hayblock. Then if I wish to keep pets of any of the animals (regardless as to whether they are "tamable" vanilla, mo'creatures or from another mod), I can create enclosures with haybale bottoms, and know that my pets won't despawn when I go away to mine.
what about a hostile mob that sneaks to you and got small amount of hearts, deals damage of five hearts to you without armor, it usually be found in jungle.
and an Ender chicken maybe?
that can lay ender pearls and teleports
and a snapdragon like the one in plants v.s. zombies 2 but in minecraft version, it usually hiding below grass and spawns on plains. when you get near it, it will get out of the ground and breath fire at you.
Small Spider
About the size of a real life tarantula. Periodically spawns cobwebs - can be useful, or a nuisance, depending if you have a use for cobwebs. Can be picked up, and possibly tamed. Attacks only insects that got caught in its webs. Regular Minecraft spiders and untamed Mo' Creatures scorpions try to eat Small Spiders.
Angler Fish
Spawns underwater at a low light level. Is a living light source - a useful pet for exploring the deep sea or grottos. Tamable with a Fish Net. Eats small fish, who are attracted by it, (Meaning: The Angler Fish has a low aggro radius, so it waits for the small fish to come close. The Angler Fish Lure, which attracts small fish and produces light, is a not-dropping armor only Angler Fish can wear - like sheep wool or Creeper charges) and strikes back against attackers.
It is awesome to see a Bigfoot in Mo´Creatures..
¿The Sasquatch can be added to this mod?
Here's what a pangolin is, for those who haven't heard of them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pangolin
This would be cool too!
-Cryptids:
-Bigfoot and Yeti
-Dinosaurs:
The more famous,for example T-rex,Spinosaurus,Velociraptor,Carnotaurus,etc
-Sea monsters:
-Kraken
-Loch Ness Monster
-Horror Monsters:
-Slenderman
Did you like my ideas??
No, they're just a widely suggested mob. Same as all of the others you've mentioned. The list of mob suggestions on the first page just doesn't update every all the time to accommodate every single suggestion.
Sorry xD
But the sasquatch is my favourite cryptid
You could also be able to tame hyenas.
Haha.
I hope a lot the Bigfoot in Mo creatures..
