Ever Since I learned that the Wyvern dimension was added I've wanted to suggest A version that does not include said dimension. But if I would suggest a mob. It would have to be a new type of wraith. Perhaps the sun wraith Idea I sent DrZhark back when minecraft was in beta (And he still replied in PMs to mob suggestions).
Sun Wraith Suggestion
It was basically a luminescent wraith that would glow in the dark and drop glowstone dust. I feel that I've revised the idea a bit now though.
A luminescent wraith that is surrounded by a ball of light that quickly damages the player while inside the radius. But unlike regular wraiths will not burst into flames when in sunlight and will instead implode into multiple glowstone dust. To be more fair it would have to have really low health so that it may be killed with a single arrow and be an extremely rare spawn. When killed with a bow (ranged weapon) instead of sunlight turning it into glowstone dust it will drop essence of light and "sun dust / some glowstone dust"
Sun dust would either be an item that teleports you to a dimension or an item used for breeding higher breed horses. (If the mo' creatures horses still exist after the Minecraft horse update.)PS I haven't used mo'creatures mod since minecraft beta so I dont know if horses/pegasi still are in the mod after minecraft 1.6 the horse update.
They are. Basically Mojang just used Mo'Creature's horses as a template and tweaked a few things here and there to make their own horses. You can also tell because the taming method is slightly different, and all of Mojang's horses are normal ones, but with greater variety, while Mo'Creatures, instead of having more variety, includes many mythical horse types. The mod still functions with the new horses too.
Owls are made but not implemented. I'm assuming that by the next update they will be implemented, or will be ready to be implemented by the next update.

Hah! You though you would see something interesting here, didn't you?
I would rather have some more tamable creatures. How about hermit crabs, sugar gliders and chinchillas also hamsters if no one has mentioned XD as for fictional mobs I would love to see a Shedu it’s a flying Lion
I'm sorry if this was already suggested but I can't open the thingies on the first post. Hyena Appearance: Model is similar to the wolf's, but with a shorter tail and slightly larger. Tanish color with a dark gray muzzle, black tail and dark brown/black spots. Health: 10 points (wild), 22 points (tamed) Attack Damage: 6 points (wild), 8 points (tamed) Behavior: Both adults and cubs spawn uncommonly (by default) in the Savanna biome, appearing in small groups. Is normally benign, but will attack the player if they are attacked or if the player comes too near them (1-2 blocks). Hyenas can only be tamed as pups like big cats, with 1-2 pieces of any meat. Afterwards, they behave like wolves. Drops: 3-5 xp, 0-1 hyena fangs (same function/recipes as big cat claws)

You can't open the spoilers? That's strange. Hm, make sure that your browser can read/will allow you to interact with BB Code, which would be astonishing to me, because BB code is so simple just about every browser can use it, plus the bold text you're using is BB code. You might just have to reload the page, or make sure a plugin isn't interfering. Because that's just bizarre.
For the hyenas, they have been suggested, but I like how you actually thought the idea through and explained how you think they should function. Nicely thought out.

After a lot of refreshing and click-spamming I managed to get them and yes, they were already suggested. The way the spoiler described them I guess they were untameable aggressive mobs, so consider this an alternate idea.
In the mean time; I elaborate on cockatrices. Cockatrice Appearance: Around the size of a horse, and resembles a rooster with glowing red eyes. Has bat wings and a long tail with an arrowhead at the tip. Health: 26 points Attack Damage: 6 points (melee), normal poison damage (ranged) Behavior: Spawns rarely in mountains and roofed forests if it is dark. Cockatrices attack on sight like other hostile mobs. They will usually spit globs of poison at you which cause poison damage, but if you get too close to them they begin meleeing you with scratches in between spitting poison. They kill any animals they see. Drops: 5-7 xp, 0-1 cockatrice eggs (hatch when placed by a torch to create a tame cockatrice), 3-5 feathers, 2-3 scaly hide or whatever the hide crocodiles drop is called
I have a couple suggestions for creepy underground mobs;
Earth Wyrm:
Appearance: Brown skin, mottled with different shades of brown, spines portruding from the back and sides, lighter underbelly. 16 blocks long by 5 blocks wide, the head is covered in spines on the top, no eyes, and the bottom is a mouth (like a squid, but much more intimidating.)
Health: 200
Found in: A dimension (much like the end, nether, or wyvern nest) that is like a giant cave, the player spawns on a bedrock platform in the middle of the dimension. This mob is a boss, and, when killed, drops an Earth Wyrm egg, which can be hatched into a tame (and much smaller) version of the boss. The dimension is also filled with small, silverfish sized Earth Wyrms, and, once the boss is killed, the dimension is filled with rich treasures, such as diamonds, gold, etc.
Behavior: Burrows through the dimension, always towards the player. When burrowing, it creates large tunnels briefly that fill in behind it. Attacks the player by flinging him/her up into the air, or "biting" the player by rearing up and crashing down onto them (this attack takes a while)
Attack Strength: 9 points (biting attack) or 4 points (throwing the player into the air)
Drops: 12,000+ xp, Overworld portal, Earth Wyrm egg (hatched via torch, taking about 2-5 minutes)
Torch Theif/Cave Gremlin
Appearance: 1 block tall, dark, mottled grey skin, glowing red eyes, pointy ears and long fingers
Health: 17 points
Behavior: Spawns on Hard difficulty underground. This mob has a low chance of spawning (choose a rate). When around the player, this mob will steal the torches that the player has placed (this makes mining a lot creepier. Placing a torch, turning around to place another, then looking back and not seeing it. Creepy.) This mob is active when the player is within 30 blocks of it. If spotted by the player (the player's crosshairs are on the mob), the mob will dissapear into a block (like a silverfish) Or attack the player.
Attack damage: 4 points
Drops: This mob has a rare chance to drop any ore, such as redstone, iron, gold, or diamond. This mob will drop any torches it stole from the player. Common materials, such as stone, cobble, or coal, will be dropped commonly.
Bosses should not be tameable. It should drop an egg block like the Enderdragon egg, with its own texture.
Ain't no breaks on the mob traaaiiin. Fenghuang Appearance: Very, very colorful, mostly in line with the modern description. Head and neck are golden, body is dark blue. Has a long peacock train with golden, green and blue feathers. Has long legs and a long neck like a crane, and a parrot's beak. The wing edges and tail tips are black and white. Health: 26 points Attack Damage: 6 points Behavior: Fenghuangs are rare, and spawn in flower forests and mountains*. They fly away from the player if they are approached, and never attack you. However, they attack snakes on sight and are immune to poison**. Can be brought places with a lead like passive mobs. Fenghuangs spawn flowers and tall grass around themselves, and occasionally perch in trees and sing. Drops: 0-1 golden carrots, 1 golden apple (enchanted kind), 0-1 glistering melons, 1-2 feathers
*Flower forests seem like the kind of place you'd find them in. They spawn in mountains because they are said to live in the Kunlun Mountains.
** Fenghuangs are commonly depicted diving down on snakes like a bird of prey.
Kelpie Appearance: Like a horse. Hooves are cloven, and mane appears to be made out of bulrushes or cattails. Coat is black. Health: 30 points Attack Damage: 8 points, poison damage Behavior: Wild kelpies spawn near water in any warm biome (that is; anywhere the water won't freeze over). They attack on sight like other agressive mobs. Randomly when attacking, they give you a 6 second poison debuff. Tame kelpies act like other horses. Kelpies cannot be drowned, move slowly on land, but quite quickly in water. Drops: 0-1 hearts of ocean (rare), 0-3 leather, 1-2 raw fish, 0-2 raw salmon, 0-1 clownfish, 1-2 pufferfish.
Essence of Ocean
Fed to a zebra to create a tame kelpie. Crafted in the same pattern as other essences, with a Heart of Ocean as the heart and a raw fish as the other object. Heals tame kelpies.
Lizards! Lizards would be a GREAT addition to Mo' Creatures, I'll show certain species of lizards that'll be great for this mod. One other good reason is not many mods have reptiles at all, especially unique looking ones, this will get MANY people interested! Regulars:
1. Anoles: Common, small lizards, Is brown, green, or camouflaged, does nothing, passive, afraid of players, untamable, found in forests and jungles, Predators: birds, foxes, Raccoons, Snakes, and ocelots
2. Iguanas: Uncommon, medium-Large, Is black or green, will defend itself if hurt, tamable. Spawns in grasslands, forests, jungles, deserts, and swamps. Predators: None if adult.
3. Geckos: Common-Rare, small-medium, comes in many different colors and patterns, passive-neutral, can climb on any surface to escape any dangerous situation, can make good pets. All biomes except arctic,Predators: birds, foxes, Raccoons, and ocelots
4. Gila Monsters: Rare, medium sized, is black and red, Neutral, If irritated, it will bite with poison and possibly inflict blindness and nausea, difficult to tame. found in deserts and mesas. Predators: None if adult
5. Thorny Devils: Uncommon-Rare, Small sized, is beige or brown, passive, when irritated it will not bite but will rather shoot blood out of it's eyes onto it's victim to blind them and run away, tamable. found in deserts and mesas, Predators: Foxes and Raccoons
6. Bearded Dragons: Uncommon, medium sized, brown, passive, doesn't really do anything but it is a good common pet. found in deserts and mesas, predators: none
7. Skinks: Common-Rare, small-medium, can be brown, green, striped, spotted, dull with bright colored tail, passive-neutral, passive skinks will run away quickly when too close or may burrow. found in jungles, deserts, forests, and grasslands. Tamable, Predators: Birds, Foxes, Raccoons, Snakes, and Ocelots
8. Monitors and Tegus: Uncommon-Rare, Medium-Large, can be brown, black, white, green, and yellow, neutral or hostile, these large lizards are big enough to eat many animals, though not as large as Komodos, they do have a nasty bite, tamable. Can be a good guarding pet if tamed. Useful Pets:
1. Blue Tongue Skinks: these lizards can grow nearly 2 ft (0.8 MC blocks?) would be able to flash it's tongue https://encrypted-tb...K0KVXBGyJi14ViP and scare any possible threats (*cough* Creeper *cough*)that come near it or it's owner. If the threat is not intimidated, it will burrow under the dirt or sand.
2. Chameleons: Many people will like these, with it's long tongue, it can kill many pesky insects that may annoy anybody like flies, roaches, grasshoppers, etc https://encrypted-tb...areF-JIcgjMjgrQ AAaaaaanndd.... that's my suggestion. I hope Dr Zhark still reads this.
I am not sure what to call it but here is a mob and an "item/structure" idea.
The "item/structure" is the dryad tree. This is a tree that during world Gen or "planting of saplings" any tree has a chance to become a dryad tree. Dryads "like silver fish" have the ability to hide within there trees. They are normally neutral and may even give gifts of items found from near by there tree "junk items like used tool and such". They normally do not go beyond 5 blocks of there tree unless chasing an attacker. If you attempt to cut down there tree they will become hostile and attack.
"Yes, all trees of the forest are sacred. But if you so much as look funny at this tree, you will not live to see tomorrow."
Dryads are the spirits of trees, and each one has a single tree somewhere that she is particularly fond of. So long as her special tree is alive, the dryad does not age and can be raised from the dead without level loss or material components (and may retain her current form if reincarnated). However, if her tree is destroyed, she immediately gains a negative level and loses the benefits of this ability. This loss does not go away unless and until she performs a 1-hour ritual to reestablish a link with a new tree, or until the old tree is restored. She cannot perform this ritual on a tree already linked with another dryad.

I am not a coder or texture maker. I am just your average minecrafter with my own ideas on how to improve my own minecraft experience and maybe others (if they like them) as well.
I cant find this in the list. My suggestion is a dessert Shark/Leviathan that swims in extremely fast in sand but in water it gets slower and turns brown. The only thing is that this might be near impossible to make, but i think zhark can do it
Maybe also adds werewolves villages. You find a village of good size during the day, but at nightfall, your nightmare starts. Killing one werewolf can already be hard, killing 10-15 is going to be insane and fun.
Different variations of dogs? 3 kinds of wolves (natural spawn). Breed them kind of like horses to get different kinds like Chihuahua's, Labradors, etc, etc...Just an idea x3

What we need are Reptilians, humanoid lizards that are hostile to players. Perhaps they live underground, in swampy areas, and in the nether. Perhaps when they attack they inflict wither plus 6 hearts of damage.
Another mob could be termites. Perhaps they could spawn in their own termite mounds, which spawn in biomes such as desert.
Why not add floating crystals of different colours and depending on there colour shoot a different laser at you and each one will drop a different shard like an ice shard or a fire shard or something
Sun Wraith Suggestion
It was basically a luminescent wraith that would glow in the dark and drop glowstone dust. I feel that I've revised the idea a bit now though.

I would like comments (good or bad) to help me adjust my ideas so that hopefully some one will help me bring them to life.

Anthills might be a good addition as well.
ZallCaTor's Sprite Ordering Service. is awesome too
Is my RPG answerI guess
Did it work?
