Hello, I made a mob mod in 1.7.10 and am trying to update to 1.11.2. The code for spawn eggs have drastically changed and I need help on how to creat and register them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Are you trying to create an ItemStack of a spawn egg, or are you trying to register an entity as having a spawn egg?
If it's the former, do what I said in the thread linked by csb987.
If it's the latter, use the EntityRegistry.registerModEntity overload with the two additional int arguments (the background/primary and foreground/secondary colours of the egg) to register your entity. Alternatively, call EntityRegistry.registerEgg after calling the EntityRegistry.registerModEntity overload without the two int arguments; which is exactly what the overload with the two int arguments does.

Thank you I got it to work!
