I have a warning:
The method registerItem(Item, String) from the type GameRegistry is deprecated
Need help!
That is for older versions of forge. Use something similar to:
Item item=new MyModSuperStickItem(); String name="my_mod_super_stick"; item.setRegistryName(new ResourceLocation(<MODID>,name)); item.setUnlocalizedName(name); GameRegistry.register(item);
Not doing mc modding that much anymore because I am making a full blown game that does not have limitations that mc has. (rip Magiology for now)
I may come back if MC fixes it's rendering pipeline.

Quote from UpcraftLP» Item#setRegistryName(name) is fine as well, that'll construct the resourcelocation using the modid provided in the @Mod annotation of your main class.
