So, I'm currently trying to create a mod in Mcreator (i know, i know, noob tool but I can't program) and I need some code as an event for rightclicking into the air. I want it to boost you into the direction you're facing, pretty much like the Electric Staff from Hexxit (Better Dungeons) or the Air Sigil from Blood Magic. All help is highly appreciated
Listen.... I haven't seen 1 thread where a legit modder/programmer actually gives code to a MCreator user. I am surprised that this is not common knowledge by now.

No problem, I'm just too busy to learn programming (cause school, working on learning to draw and working to learn playing piano) but I still wanna have my ideas in the game ^-^ I actually expected something like this, maybe I'm gonna give it a try. Sorry for the inconvenience o/
Also if/when you start coding mods you need to make sure you have basic to intermediate knowledge on java! Do not start coding mods without any java knowledge! I did it and I regret every bit of it.
There is a great YouTube playlist on getting started with java. It is made by "thenewboston".

Not doing mc modding that much anymore because I am making a full blown game that does not have limitations that mc has. (rip Magiology for now)
I may come back if MC fixes it's rendering pipeline.
What you basically wann a do is to either set the motion of the player entity to a specific value or to add velocity in the direction the player is facing.
Look the basic Entity class to see if you can understand how it works
(No one on the MinecraftForum will ever - almost - give you code for just copy-pasting, for learning purposes. If they were to to so, nobody would feel in need of learning to code.)

Exactly! That is pretty much the reason you can't really get copy/paste code with extension of: <Insert username here> will come back for more code and will do so because there is nothing that can be learned.

Also I recommend to read up on this.
Edit: Sorry if I sounded like a douchebag. That was not my intention.
