Dooglamoo Worlds mod: natural terrain and ore generation.
Features:
Tall mountains and flat plains.
No pre-defined "biomes".
Rivers and large lakes at high elevations.
Each ore generates in certain rock types and conditions.
Ore veins get larger under favorable conditions.
User configuration details:
The folder: config.dooglamooworlds.geofeatures can contain json files to specify biomes, surface blocks, and features for Dooglamoo Worlds. You can see examples by downloading and unzipping the file here. The folder: config.dooglamooworlds.geomaps can contain subfolders that have png map files and an optional geomap.json file. You can see examples by downloading and unzipping the file here. If you want to include your own new blocks or features in Dooglamoo Worlds, you can use the Dooglamoo Worlds API. Include this package and interface in your mod:

hmmm idk how this mod doesnt get spotlight, for every terrain generator i tried for 1.12.2 this is the most realistic, well it can be more improved tho
thr land is so jagged make walking really annoying and maybe dense forest that would be cool
anyone got good seed that start at beach on large ocean?
