Hi, I don't normally post but I was wondering whether or not development was dead. I don't believe so because I have seen lots of posts on here, but everytime I check http://maven.ironhide.de/ValkyrienWarfareRevamped/valkyrienwarfare/ for updates there hasn't been anything for over a month and a half. Sorry if I have been checking the wrong place for updates or if things have just been going slow. Thanks!
Quick edit: I also wanted to say I love all the work you have put into this fantastic mod, its what I have always dreamed of in Minecraft and am so happy to see it becoming a reality.

That website is hosted by me, and is temporarily down because the hard disk died. The link is in the OP ( http://jenkins.daporkchop.net )

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!!! THIS IS AWESOME!!!! "I'm sick of Minecraft modders saying that things are impossible with Minecraft modding, and this mod proves it" as my friend said. I'm making a modpack and I was wondering if you could maybe make this for 1.7.10 if it's not too much trouble (which it probably is to be fair, I mean, I'm no techno-wizard master).

You literally could not pay thebest108 to update it, as it would pretty much require a full rewrite of the mod. And we're not putting effort and time into backporting a mod to a version of Minecraft that's nearly 5 major releases outdated.

Cool, one last thing though how can I configure the ether compressor's strength? I can't seem to find the "/blockdata xyz" in any of the config. files
If you're using the beta builds, you can edit the strength of the Basic, Advaced, Elite and Ultimate Ether Compressors in the valkyrienwarfarecontrol.cfg file.

I'm a bit confused. If you don't mind me asking, aren't those only engines that you could set value to, in the config file?
In the BETA builds you can change it for Ether Compressors too.

We all mainly talk at Discord, and there's a separate website holding the betas.
Thanks for your reply. Is there a link to the website with the betas? Sorry for bothering you if not, I understand if you want to keep that private.

Oh, thanks! Sorry to hear about your hard disk though :/ Seriously though, keep up the awesome work!
The Jenkins is back up and running, beta builds are accessible at http://jenkins.daporkchop.net again!
EDIT: 200 posts! wooo!!!
Awesome!

A note to future "plz backport", this mod was originally thought for 1.8 but because of technical problems it had to be bumped up to 1.10
So first go ask Mojang to get 1.10 into 1.8 and then we can talk about downgrading.
Hey gents. I'm back and building a new ship, I just wanted to ask a few things:
Do engines work while using the Pilot's chair? I tried to use the ultimate engines to make the ship do a barrel role.
Have you ever considered implementing a way for RAMMING ships?
Thanks again for the wonderful mod
The pilot's chair is gonna be reworked, atm it works on it's own and doesn't control the engines.
And ramming is almost (if not fully) implemented, hit your ship against some dirt and you'll see~
Though the ramming implementation is only in the Jenkins builds, should be out for 0.9_alpha though

/blockdata is an ingame command...

oh, thank's for the assist
So, how ya all holding up?
