Bismuths have their Gems on their chest because of the Crystal Gem and because I couldn't find another place to put it because it is a very large Gem. Bismuths don't build because it would be too difficult to work into the mod. They act as furnaces except they don't need coal.

"I should put a meaningful quote about my modding skills here, shouldn't I?"
this mod seems really cool, and i would love to play on a server (if it were 1.7, since my comp wont let me play above 1.9)
I'd like to ask though, would you be at all interested in expanding this into a full on "become a gem" mod? like, giving the player the option to chose a gem type, a gem skin, and the ability to use gem powers and summon their own special weapon and such?
if it's not too pushy-sounding of me, if you consider i'd like to talk with you about some ideas i've had for it, if you're interested!

I've had the idea thrown at me, but I didn't make much of it because I'd have to edit the actual Minecraft code, and that might harm compatibility with other mods.

I've been using the previous 1.11 versions of KAGIC on 1.11.2 and they've worked (mostly) fine. What changes did you do make to 1.7.8 to port it to 1.11.2?
Also, are you still planning on open-sourcing the mod and accepting contributions? I'd like to take a crack at making warp pads.

Odd, I've always had crashes on 1.11.2, nice to know i can just consolidate the next update though.
All I did was rename a few methods that were already obfuscated, they're more apparent in the source code, speaking of which, I should probably start opening the source for that. It should hopefully be out on GitHub in a week or two.

I'm still having to dig gems out of their holes. This is with the 1.11.2 version of KAGIC 1.7.8. Each of these holes (a peridot, an amethyst, and two rubies) face west and had to be dug out because the gem didn't make her own hole.
I'm pleased to report that the exit hole bug is indeed fixed now.
However, I've found a new bug: if you give a carnelian a weapon, it won't render in her hand. She'll have it (and it can be swapped out for other weapons), but it will be invisible.
Thank you!
