There seems to be a massive amounts of bugs regarding the player temperature. Slime armor does not seem to do anything at all. I overheat just as fast in a hot biome and next to lava whether I have FULL slime armor on or nothing at all. It makes it impossible to search for diamonds as you overheat from nothing to where it damages you within 2 seconds. I am not sure if the fireplace particle effects is bugged or not, but I have died sitting next to a fireplace from the cold as well. Full wool armor doesn't seem to stop you from dying (like you are wearing nothing at all again). except when you are next to a fireplace.
As a person who plays almost exclusively in deserts the heat system is brutal to the point of being discouraging and annoying versus being a fun challenge, as I'm constantly having to dive into the water every minute and a half or so to not die. Being indoors should bring rising body heat to a crawl if not stand still except maybe during midday, and aggravated in summer when you would then need coils. In short, enclosed spaces should insulate against ambient temperature change. The system for this is already in place, the coils can detect when their in an enclosed space, just add this to the player heat modifiers.
At the very least add a config for how much heat modifiers effect players, and a early tier heat resistant clothing like head wraps/robes.
Hm, maybe it is just me, but i feel like the Seasons cycle in the latest 1.10.2 version way faster. Instead of 84 minecraft days which equals 1 year at this point, it went way faster and i had about 2 or 3 Winter Days. So yeah...the year/season cycle is going way faster then the promised 7 days per sub season. And i also sure wished there would be a more detailed configuration of how long you wanna have those seasons to be.
Now i'm a bit hoping that i would have fixed that with the NBT Explorer but yeah....that is something what would be nice to have aswell, a direct configuration in the Config File. Nevermind, it's still staying same, 2 days and whole winter is through.
I would also love to have a feature on the season clock where you right click with it and it tells you what season you are in (just like in The Seasons Mod) It's otherwise a bit hard to tell for me how past through the season one is.
I don't know if I'm the only one having this problem, but grass and leaf colours don't change with the season when I use this mod with Optifine in Minecraft 1.11.2...
A question! Would it be possible for you guys to mess also with the mobs? I mean, tweak them so they can also feel, hunger, thirst, heat and cold. Furthermore, to develop the sense of realism by adding..."gender"? [Add roosters, bulls, rams and hogs]. In addition, there is a mod called Diseasecraft! Maybe you can add compatibility with it in the future?
One last question! In which Minecraft versions, are you planning to develop the mod? [1.9.4, 1.8, 1.9?]

I'm not sure if you are already planning this, or if someone has already suggested it, but I have a couple things I thought would be nice if they were configurable.
Setting hypo/hyperthermia: right now in my survival world, I've got hyperthermia in the middle of a summer night. That's... kind of silly. It would be nice if we could raise or lower the temperature at which hyper/hypothermia sets in.
Configuring water stored in bottles/canteens: at least in the early game, it feels a little unrealistic that you only get three gulps of water from a canteen, and you need to maintain access to water or else risk dehydration.

I want to suggest few features. The first one is the that crops can be only harvested once in year (Wheat and Melon - Summer, Carrots and Potatoes - Spring, Pumpkins - Autumm etc) and can be only planted in specific biomes. Hope you are going to like them.
Another Bug which i found is and which is really bothering: Sleeping messes up the Seasons. It Skips the entire Season, if not even 2! (i just was at early Autumn and by sleeping i skipped the entire Autumn as also Winter)
I hope that the Season get's fixed, it's really bothering and since i'm in need of Crops it's even harder since i loose track of Season very easily, and the Season Clock isn't really helping either.

Thirst mechanics are also meh where you can just drink dirty water and accept the 30 second thirst debuff without caring at all. No point in filtering water unless the debuff lasts 3 minutes or something.
We need to be able to configure dehydration speed, consumables from other mods as well as thirst penalty.
I run this with hunger overhaul which allows massive customization in how hunger works. Even on normal mode hunger can kill you when you reach 0 hunger (you can set it to outright kill you or tick damage).
Tough as nails config would def be a lot nicer which more options so it is more compatible with mods such as pam's harvestcraft etc
Dream list would be:
- Customize how fast hydration goes down
- Bigger thirst penalty (thirst debuff that stacks and lasts longer)
- Ability to add any food/consumable from any other mod to Tough as Nails drinks
- Adjustment of biome temperature/drain - would be best if we can add our own biome's because things like Biomes O' Plenty have so many.
- How fast season's change
- How many hearts you start with (regardless of what difficulty setting is chosen)
- Ability to modify/add entries for items/armors that give warmth/protection from cold/heat
- All of these features for 1.10.2 and not just future releases >.<

I was wondering if it would be possible to make the starting lowered health with custom amounts of hearts. For example spawning with 3 hearts instead of 10.
Right now I think it's hardcoded on 5 hearts without the ability to change it.
Also would it be possible to allow max health over 10 hearts? Like in the old More Hearts mod or Terraria?
