Cyotetrickster, that looks to be a simple problem in Recurrent Complex. Nothing I can do about it, as my code wouldn't even cause that problem to arise.

I was wondering it it is possible to have passive mobs spawn along with the villages? Especially desert villages, rabbits & chickens which do live wild near water sources in many deserts.
That isn't something included yet, shadamyfan, though that would be a nice addition for the future.
Two new versions are up - one for MC 1.9 and the other for MC 1.9.4. If you improved settings that you would like to contribute, please make a pull request of them on the configuration repository so they can become official

question- If I create a world with this mod, then map it out- go fly all around and explore, I get all the villages. works perfect. Question is- once Ive done that, can i remove the mod from the mods folder and still have the villages? I figure once it is done its job through the entire world then there really shouldn't be any dependencies after that should there?
Correct. This mod only does anything during WorldGen - after that, everything is driven by standard vanilla (so you could generate the world with this mod in one version of MC, then remove the mod and use the world in another version of MC) ^^

So I've been having an issue lately with my current Minecraft modpack in that it seems no villages want to spawn for me anymore. I'm hoping this mod will fix that; if not, might you have any suggestions? I'm running a MC 1.7.10, Thaumcraft 4.2.3.5-based pack with more or less every up-to-date addon for Thaumcraft that doesn't require another mod. If Mo'Villages doesn't fix this issue I'll give a full exhaustive list of mods.
Edit:
IT WORKED, I have two villages within map-view of my spawn point on this new world. Thank you so much for this mod!
I am working on a mod for FTB and I was wondering if I could use your mod in it.If not I can remove it if you would like. Thank you for the hard work you have put into this pack BTW
Um... I don't have time to read the whole giant license right now, but near the top it does say Noncommercial Share-Alike.
Does this mean I can't use it during a YouTube Let's Play? (YouTube has a CC license available, but doesn't have NC or SA licenses.) And/or does it mean that I can't put ads on my Let's Play (monetize it -- get a fraction of a penny per view)?

My YouTube channel is currently on hiatus, but I hope to get back to it at some point. Content is fairly random, but can be enjoyable, and is mostly game footage (mostly random Minecraft clips) from my nephews and me. Most popular MC vid so far is the one Vechs laughed at on Twitter!
Kilyle - You can make gameplay videos with the mod, mod showcases, mod installation guides, and the like. Don't upload the mod for file sharing nor earn money from the mod's file(s) itself(/themselves), though -- Youtube ad revenue is perfectly fine, since those ads would be on the videos rather than the mod's file(s)... unless Youtube starts becoming a file sharing service for non-videos, of course, in which case only the ads on videos is fine and the mod's file(s) should not be on there
gameplay video = free [non-subtracting] publicity = why would I want to stop it?
*by "non-subtracting", I'm meaning that it's not something like "download this mod from [insert number]Minecraft", etc. Those I consider posting a comment correcting it, though half of the time those vids are for [insert whatever the current version of MC is at this moment in time, here] and aren't legit anyways.

Can anyone tell me what I have to edit in this code to change how frequently the villages spawn? I want them to spawn at the normal vanilla rate but I'm not sure what part of the code I should be messing with.
config.load();
villageDistance = config.get("Customization", "Village Distance - 32 is vanilla, 16 is more common, 8 is extremely common, 4 is just insane.", villageDistance).getInt();
if (villageDistance < 4) {
villageDistance = 4;
}

Thanks.
I've been looking for a good mod to help increase the village spawn rates, and can this mod do this? I really want to have more villages, its so fun.
This sure can. Not only will it let villages spawn in more biome, it even lets you change how common villages are in general (via config)

I am curious if you add a BOP biome to the config will villages then spawn there?

Just a heads up for all players who use this mod; the latest version of Mo' Villages does work with MC Version 1.11.2.
