I overheated the engine. What else causes engine fires? Besides, your plane is made of metal. Imagine what would happen if I had tested that on the MC-172
@Breezart
Drat! I didn't want to go hunting sound bugs, but from the looks of it I have no choice. Guess I'll start at version 9, as that seems to be the earliest version where they're occurring.
The third gauge is an engine temp gauge. It's not currently available, but is due to come out in the next update along with a host of other engine changes.
The shift-right clicking on the plane doens't work for me

I thought I put that in there. It's in the Pre-flight checklist section and mentioned in the Control options menu, but I guess I need to make it more obvious. The reason for the P-key is so you don't have to hunt for the plane 'box' to right-click.
@Mantoide
You mean your plane doesn't move at all? That only happens if you're missing wheels, a propeller, or have the brake on. If you could post a picture and more details on what you're doing I'd be happy to help.
@Breezart
I found the source of your bug. Turns out it was an odd multi-threading issue that occurs in 1.8+ versions. Expect it to be fixed in the next release, which should be out sometime next week.
I'm having an issue where the plane will randomly disappear, only to appear when you relog. Sometimes it even disappears a few seconds after relogging. It's fairly common. (4.1.0, 1.7.10)
@PeppeJ2
Do you mean the planes go away and don't come back until you re-log? That shouldn't happen, but if it does there should be some output in your log to help be debug the problem. Could you post that and give a little more description on where the planes are when they disappear and their status when doing so?
@Killer Mapper
I'm starting to get a bit peeved at WAILA. This is the second error that's been caused by it being over-antsy to get the properties of an entity. Do the developers ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe, the entity they're looking doesn't initialize all it's variables right when the class is loaded?
Hey, I really love this mod, but the thing that I don't like is the HUD that appears showing your instruments. We have functional instruments in the cockpit, why would we have double pasted instruments? I am not asking for it to be removed, but maybe toggleable?
When I put down a plane in 1.7.10 i cant do anything with it like put in a seat or any indicators and its the only mod i have for 1.7.10 too what did i do wrong

It already is. Press [right shift+right control] until the instruments disappear.
This is stated in the "keyboard controls" section of the OP.

Hello, I have been having some issues with my Minecraft client crashing about one in every two times I start an engine (using "M") on my 1.10.2 server. When I load my Minecraft back up and re-join the server, sometimes the aeroplane has started and is moving, and sometimes it disappears altogether.
In addition, when another player is in the backseat of my MC-172, they sometimes crash with the same error report and sometimes fall out of the aircraft.
@LuminousAndWired
Did you look a the controls section, cause that's where I'd start. You could also look three posts up to see the same question asked and answered.
I think we may need to put a big banner at the top of the OP saying just "Press P".

@DP
I'm getting tired of answering the same question myself. It's partially my fault for not implementing the feature sooner; all the videos online showcase old versions of the mod. It's also a bit counter-intuitive to have to press a key to get into an inventory.
That being said, I've gone and put a blinking icon in the dev version that will appear when a player gets into inventory proximity. Hopefully users will notice the letter P on a plane and think, "Maybe I should press that key."
@Wychmire
I noticed you aren't using the recommended version of Forge. Switch to 2011 first and see if the problem persists. There's a ton of changes in the fluid system in newer Forge versions, so expect high-development versions to buggy.
Until I found the business about the P key here, I was thinking it was maybe a hoax or I'd have to look it up on updog. You can walk right through the plane like it's not really there.
...I'd have to look it up on updog. You can walk right through the plane like it's not really there.
Still crashing; I know nothing about airplanes!
Sorry, not falling for it! I've seen the updoc variant too many times in old cartoons.
On a more serious note, I plan on improving the collisions of the plane parts when I implement PVP compatibility. That's slated for version 6, which is a ways off.
If you're still crashing you can change the speed factor in the config. 0.5 is about as fast as you can go in Minecraft; 2.5 is a bit better for learning and lower-end computers.

@Wychmire
