Ok I haven't used this mod in many many many months. There was a file or something that allowed me to control the SIZE of the biomes but I can't find it, if it even exists. Could someone please give me an exact link to a website that allows me to do just that with RTG? I DO remember having to use BiomeTweaker which I also have as a mod. I can't find anything online for either of them that shows how to increase biome size.
Yeah, no joke. The Realworld mod just came out a couple of days ago (adds plants, trees & decorations) and I was so excited because Plant Mega Pack was one of my favorite mods. But it's only for 1.11.2 and when I loaded up a world I was just like "oh dear... this world gen SUCKS!" Because RTG has spoiled me and now I can't handle vanilla world gen.
If that mod is an actual thing I'd like to examine it as well. I haven't been able to track it down.

Last release is from January ? Update the first post because it says that you expect 1.11 version for february...
Pink is currently too busy IRL to keep this thread up-to-date. You should be refering to CurseForge, or the GitHub repo's release section, for what version of RTG have been released and when. There won't be a release for 1.11.2 for a while as there is still a lot of work that needs to be done.

Do as this says. I had some problems with RF mods as well when I was running RTG. Disable or delete RF mods including the core mods and then run it again.
I also suspect this is being caused by a mob-related mod, most likely Bad Mobs... or perhaps a dodgy BiomeTweaker script?
Check the Bad Mobs config and any relevant BiomeTweaker scripts and look out for any 'max' values that are lower than (or equal to) any 'min' values, or any 'min' values that are greater than (or equal to) any 'max' values.

Wonderful help. Thank you very much. Found an invalid value within the config file for the Animania mod. They don't allow a value of 0 for spawn rates or frequencies.

I know I'm late but the last time I checked, the RTG uses the same biomes, so you can theretically use a seed previewer like amidst to view where you can teleport to find one.

TL;DR: What options for "lakes (surface)" and "lakes (underground)" are "vanilla-like"? When it says it has a 1/x possibility to generation, is that possibility per chunk? Per biome?
I recently started a modded 1.10.2 server (including Biomes o Plenty and Geographicraft) and after exploring for a while, and mining and starting to build, I wanted to mine some obsidian so I could get to the nether to get some much needed nether-only blocks.
Problem is, I saw no lava lakes on the surface, and found almost no caves or "just above bedrock" lava lakes in the underground, even after extensively mining (and now that I think about it, no surface water lakes/ponds either).
I think it might have something to do with the default RTG lakes settings of 1/10 chance of generation for both? Is there is a setting that is more vanilla-like?

To make biomes the equivelent of vanilla Large Biomes, add this to your BiomeTweaker script: Tweaker.setAverageBiomeSize(6)

it's a Terrain Control fork,but it's better than TC,it support many mod.

BoP works fine with RTG, but requires Climate Control or BiomeTweaker - read first post of this thread. I prefer BiomeTweaker.
