It adds a biome simmilar to bop's flower field just with big flowers added.
Adding internal biome support is only relevant to RTG for 1.7.10. We are currently rewriting RTG for 1.9.4-> and biome support in the rewrite will be more-or-less automatic.
I don't think we'll be adding anymore to RTG-1.7.10, however, if it's just one biome, you MIGHT be able to coerce Pink into adding support for it.
I know this is probably a "when its done" answer but.
Is there an estimated timeline on a version that works with 1.10 and doesn't have the lag in it (as said int he first post issues) looking through all the posts there seems to be a "soon" timeline but most of those are over a month old
I love the way the biomes create with this it's just not really usable in 1.10 and up
Also and this is just my humble opinion but a more obvious link to the curse page in the first post would be good.
Flowercraft doesn't have a 1.7.10 version - however, this is already a feature request for the 1.8.9 version of RTG.
Next time I'm in my 1.8.9 development environment, I'll bump this one to the top of the list. (No idea when that will be, however, as most of our efforts are being spent on the 1.9.4 version... except for...
.
Yes it does have a 1.7.10 version. It's not listed on curse, but the modmaker posted a link to versions below 1.8 on the curse modpage.

looks like flowercraft is across the board 1.9 and works for 1.10 with no issues its starting to grow on me as well as other it seems lets see if RTG can get this working in 1.8.9 and above! ill be happy! haha

I tested the snapshot and everything is fine for me except that in mesa plateau sometimes little lakes generate with normal sand instead of redsand no desert or biome with normal sand near. Oh and I found a flat mesa plateau and no other plateau near.
Is it possible to make a world generated in say, WorldPainter, use RTG as its world generator, allowing for your trees and improvements to biomes?
I want to port over a Space Engine world (yes this is possible), and use your biomes and decorators for the landscape. Then use it on my server via multiverse as another world.

Hmm could it be that the new RTG sappling mechanic tries to force itself on the twilight forest mod?
java.lang.ClassCastException: twilightforest.world.TFWorldChunkManager cannot be cast to rtg.world.biome.WorldChunkManagerRTG
at rtg.event.EventManagerRTG$SaplingGrowTreeRTG.saplingGrowTreeRTG(EventManagerRTG.java:207)
at cpw.mods.fml.common.eventhandler.ASMEventHandler_1462_SaplingGrowTreeRTG_saplingGrowTreeRTG_SaplingGrowTreeEvent.invoke(.dynamic)
That's happening when I try to grow a tree or a natural tree tries to grow with nature overhaul installed in the twilight forest dimension. I don't know if it would happen in other dimensions since they haven't got the vanilla minecraft trees that would
naturally expand with sapplings.
(btw nature overhaul works sooooo goood with rtg and rtg trees. It's really nice to see forests expand with the new sappling mechanic and big trees instead of the small minecraft trees)
OOh interesting idea!
It should be possible to use a tool like mcedit to mark the chunks as undecorated and/or unpopulated. Then you would bring over the world from worldpainter or whatever, and open it with RTG, and with a little bit of luck you might get RTG decorations. No idea if it would work though.
There is no way that i know of to only draw the biome layout in worldpainter and use that, but i think i saw a mod for something like that some time ago, maybe, just maybe, it would work with RTG. Then you could draw a biome layout in paint or photoshop or whatever, and use that for the layout of an RTG world.
Good luck, and do report back here if you succeed!
Actually, you can draw the biome layout in worldpainter.

One thing that really bothers me is that when playing with BOP or EXBXL this mod will remove the foliage colors. Those colors are one of the things that give those mods their amazing feel, and without them, they look almost unrecognizable.
1.9.4 in the release section on github ...was it removed?
We recently merged the 1.8.9 and 1.9.4 repos into the main repo, and when we did we lost some of the repo specific stuff, such as releases and whatnot. All of our releases are on CurseForge though. The link is in my signature.
I know it's probably too late to ask for biome support for 1.7.10. But this mod would be for 1.9.4 too and maybe later for 1.10.
I speak of the flowercraft mod: http://mods.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/242563-flowercraft#t1:description

If the mesa in that 3rd picture was bigger, I would want to set up my base there. That actually seem cool.
If I seem megalomaniacal, chances are I'm just kidding

Why did you tag this 1.10 when there's no download for that version? why the misleading tag?
The 1.9.4 version works fine in 1.10.2

This is my fault. I broke it. I take full responsibility. This will be fixed in the next SNAPSHOT.
