Are you sure you are launching from the right profile? It says 1.5.1 for the version of JAFF in the crash report.
Well, that bug is fixed, but I found a new one. 2 actually.
But one of them I can't seem to make happen anymore. I was using a water bucket around a bunch of aquariums in creative and placing water was making the aquariums disappear. It was replacing the aquariums with waterblocks if the bucket was aimed in such a way that it would be targeting a block behind it. Like placing a water block where there is a torch and the torch despawns instead of dropping as an item. I was replicating that bug over and over and suddenly it just didn't want to work anymore, so something's up with that. Bugs don't just disappear, but I'm worried that you won't be able to replicate it and there is no crash report this time.
The other bug is that fish no longer seek out water. They only seem to want to flop Northwest... I was placing tanks in the path of a salmon on a superflat and wound up having to place a few tanks down to make sure he would land in one. Otherwise he might land on a corner or an edge of the tank and continue on a Northwestern diagonal until he drowned. Sometimes the timing of his flops would make it so he used the raised aquariums to launch off of. The aquariums might as well have been dirt. There are two snapshots attached showing that a school of puffer fish is flopping long side a string of aquariums instead of moving towards them. It was repeated.
Sorry again for not switching out the versions sooner, I could have sworn that I already did. It fixed the bug with placing water.

Weird about the tank blocks and water bucket... I tried replicating it, and couldn't get it to happen. If you ever see it happen again, make sure to let me know!
And yeah, I haven't been able to get that AI working in 1.10.2 yet, to make them flop towards water. I'll take another crack at it though.

If it helps when I was making it replace tanks I was sometimes in a large tank and it would replace the tank block against the wall I was aiming at. So suddenly there would be a missing tank against the wall replaced with a water block. I wish I took a screen shot of it, it was really odd looking being able to make all of these bubbles in an otherwise large square aquarium.
If the fish AI or the iron fish hook behave a bit differently in this version, it's because I basically had to rework them from scratch... a lot changed between 1.10 and 1.11. I did manage to fix the AI that makes the fish flop towards water in the process though (not in 1.10.2 yet). =)
Tell me if you find any problems, and have fun with the fish! =D
Hey, thanks for the mod really like it, but I always seem to have the same problem, was same with 1.10.2 and now in 1.11. The regular fishing rod still works, I can catch fishes, junk and no bones. I have the setting on default, havent changed anything. I thought maybe some other mod is overwriting your mods functions, but I cant think of any mod, which would do that. Or maybe there is another explanation, to why this happens?
Tested it out on a completely fresh client, with just this mod, and still, no fish bones, can catch everything, am I missing something?

Yeah, I mentioned it a bit earlier. They changed the way loot works, so I can't edit the fishing loot from a mod right now. I've been working on another mod exactly for that, which I will use with this mod when it is done. For now though, you can edit the fishing loot per world using vanilla loot tables.
One question: Is there any way to customize the mod a bit? I didn't read the entire thread but there was mentioning of a config file which I failed to find. I cannot configure anything via forger either.
SOLVED: t seems there was something else causing the huge lag. Even with the white-list solution, the lag ended building up after almost a hour rendering the game unplayable. Then I discovered this in the jaff.cfg:
general {
# If this is true, alternate code will run to attempt to fix a bug
# with optifine. Note that this code may cause issues and crashes,
# so disable it if anything bad is happening. [default: true]
B:"Attempt Optifine Fix"=true
}
Still happening. It's very strange.
I right clicked at open water with a water bucket and the game crashed, the attachment is a snap shot taken of the exact spot after re-entering the game. It can be done repeatedly.
And here is that crash report. It, for whatever reason, is still showing those other mods.

Ice and Fire: Dragons in a whole new light
Yeah, I think harvestcraft fish would be really neat too. I don't have enough time to do that at the moment though, sadly.
The seaweed in the screenshots was actually from biomes o plenty.
Of course! =)
Are you sure you are launching from the right profile? It says 1.5.1 for the version of JAFF in the crash report.
Crap, I thought that I had downloaded that and switched it out! Going to test it again.
Ice and Fire: Dragons in a whole new light
Ice and Fire: Dragons in a whole new light
JAFF (MC1.10.2) is crashing the game when I try to use buckets not pointing to any block or in certain vertical angles near zero:

That has been fixed. Go grab the latest version.

Thank you for makeing this mod. Im going to be putting it into my little Modpack, ill be playing with. ^^
Hey people!
The mod is now updated to 1.11.2! Wohoo!
Cool! The fish looks good, and it adds some realism to minecraft!
Check out De-Extinction Mod!!!
Yeah, I mentioned it a bit earlier. They changed the way loot works, so I can't edit the fishing loot from a mod right now. I've been working on another mod exactly for that, which I will use with this mod when it is done. For now though, you can edit the fishing loot per world using vanilla loot tables.

Any update on the lag issue? (post http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/2508671-just-a-few-fish?comment=232)

Dude! U are ****ing awesome!
It's in .minecraft/config, called jaff.cfg.
EzerArch.com | Armourer's Workshop Skins | MCHeli Content Pack Addons | Resource Packs | YouTube | G+ | Twitter
Any chance of adding other fish? or maybe squids, would also kinda be cool if you could fill the bottom of a tank with sand!
SOLVED: t seems there was something else causing the huge lag. Even with the white-list solution, the lag ended building up after almost a hour rendering the game unplayable. Then I discovered this in the jaff.cfg:
Set it to false. No more lag.
