Out of all the mods I've played this has to be one of the best, I seriously mean it!
Also, did you take any inspirations from Capcom's Monster Hunter or How to train your dragon? Just curious is all, I'm really hyped for the new creatures yet to come, seeing as Thaumcraft has been postponed this mod is now one of my top favorites.
(Plus being able to play in the newer versions is great!)
One could say that you would need more dedodated wam to use advanced AI.
I usually end up using a minimum of 2GB, and a maximum of 8GB, which strangely enough is the max for my computer. It never actually uses that much, thankfully.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
Is it just me? Or do ranged weapons do no damage against dragons?
The dragon book told me it's best to keep my distance with ranged weapons but none seem to work, I thought it was just TiC bows but vanilla ones are doing it too.

Their hit box seems to be located between their legs, literally. Just shoot at their hips and your shots should work fine.

Agreed, their hitbox should be enlarged a decent bit, to make it easier to hit them. Of course, they'd have massive health and some strong armor to boot (dragons should have SOME natural armor points, as their scales are ridiculously tough).

I was doing just that, I've been doing a lot of testing in creative and survival mode too and it just doesn't do anything, the arrow vanishes as if it hit an entity (Not 100% sure on that, but very sure) but still no damage flash and no damage dealt.
I have a question. Can you tame wild dragons? I used a spawn egg to spawn an ice dragon and fed it and everything. I thought that you could tame one that way, but can you only tame it by hatching it? I've had the dragon for about 2 days now and I'm very attached to them. Please reply! I don't want them to destroy all my stuff!
Go into the config and change it so that dragons only break weak or no blocks at all. Also craft a dragon flute with 1 iron ingot and 2 dragon bones diagonally. Left click to call back your dragon if it's somewhat close by.

Some things are gotten through blood and iron, others through peace and patience.
I found a stage 5 in a cavern in an extreme hills biome but it was already dead. It wasn't a skeleton or anything, it was just lying there and at first I thought it was sleeping but when I got a closer look it had 0 hp. Also there were no eggs there

you have to right-click the dragon until its skeleton is there to get eggs, but its not guaranteed for you to get eggs
Hey! Im loving this mod and Im so happy that it is out and i wanted to say great job and keep up the good work. but i have something in mind that would be cool, at least to me. what i have in mind is like a perch that you can put the small stage 1 and smaller dragons on and it has the same look as it being on your shoulder, but its on a stand instead and just sits there and looks cool. i love all the work and obvious effort that you put into this mod for us and I believe that would be a cool little addition. also maybe chains? that would be cool too

That would be cool. Maybe once this mod reaches 1.12, the perching on your shoulder feature could override the parrot code, to make it not need a keybind? Would be nice.

Yeah, that's what I thought was happening. It was a hippogryph, not a griffin, just to clarify. I sure hope the thing wasn't scrapped, as it was a great idea. Gorgon's are cool though.

It's strange. :v

You sure it's a stage 5 dragon? I think there's a way to find out what stage it is.

Oh dear.
"Snakes? Why did it have to be snakes?"
Even deadlier when you look at them! https://gfycat.com/MadeupTediousHarrierhawk
what im mainly exited about for this is the decorative purposes a gorgon could have and seeing modded minecraft mob statues
also wasnt the next mob the gryphon/hippogryph?
