In addition to wondering if dragons can grow in the wild over time I had a cool idea for a mythical addition to the mod: Dragon's Teeth! In Greek myth the teeth of a dragon were once planted into the ground and warriors sprung up from them. In the mod you could occasionally collect Dragon's Teeth and use them for some (possibly temporary) "Draconic Hoplites." Warriors with just the stats of the usual Zombie, but always carrying an Iron Sword and Shield with a full set red dyed Leather Armor for that Spartan-like feel. Some custom armor to complete the look may be possible, but colored Leather would probably do just fine.

its just bare bones now, but up and running for sure! Invite all your friends, the world looks amazing and mountainous. Head over to marauderstale.enjin.com for the texture pack and mod pack, add your ign and age to the whitelist page and I'll accept you asap.
If you are not so tech savvy technic will keep you up to date on all the mod updates and additions!

That would be amazing. Maybe add support for Base Metals to add a recipe for spartan armor, made from bronze ingots and red wool. Would look amazing.

Ahh yes, I remember, it's in the story of Jason and the Argonauts. Hmm, that could be funny, I'll add that to the very long maybe pile.
If not, how about adding a 5th kind/color of dragon to both species, that is not aggressive, unless hit? (Kinda like regular MC wolf?)
Also, will this mod work with Mo'Creatures?
Dragons stay around on peaceful and will spawn. I've located dragons in roosts and caverns while in peaceful. It should be compatible with Mo' Creatures as well.

I absolutely love this mod so far, Keep up the great work!! The textures for the hippocampi have me very excited, fantastic coloring and also for the dragons fantastic animation!!
I've just started playing around with this mod; awesome stuff! I have had one little issue, though. When I kill a dragon, both in creative and survival, the dragon simply lays on the ground, evidently dead, without dropping anything. I use a damage indicator mod as well, and this clearly shows that the dragon is out of health, not just sleeping. Am I doing something wrong, or is this some sort of bug?

It's intended behavior so you don't lose its loot. Try right clicking the body.
I had an idea for a somewhat different take on gargoyles. My idea is a bit of a hybrid of the different forms of the lore on them. They would have various combinations of traits like wing variation, horns variation, color, and whether or not they have a muzzle/beak. They would be very territorial about wherever they roost but would withdraw if their enemy retreated far enough. During the day they would turn into a two block high statue of themselves. If the statue is mined normally you would receive Cobblestone and Gravel, but with Silk Touch you would receive the statue itself. If you give the statue a name (in an Anvil as usual) and are within a few blocks of it when they change back to their living forms at dusk then they will respect you and guard their new territory. Their territory would be considered a few chunks radius from their spawning/placement area. They could also be equipped by their friends (players) to help them fight better. I'll think more about their living (non-stone) drops later. I think whatever they are should include things that players that favor hunting them over befriending them could use. This mod is clearly strong on both sides of every conflict.

Could be cool to see. Think you could make an example model?

Greetings, I just stumbled upon this mod and wow.. have to say this looks amazing and PERFECT for my server. However i just updated it to 1.11.2... are there plans for a port in the works? I would love to showcase this, as my server is going for a hardcore survival themed approach, and would love to sprinkle in some dragons and assorted mythical beasts to add to the fun
Now that would be amazing. Imagine if CompatLayer eventually took on the power of Forge and became a fully fledged modding API. Could make mods truly version independent.

unlike many servers we have plugins as well, so /home etc all work!
i recommend a minimum of 4gb of ram allocated to your Minecraft.
