Wallpaper adds 16 decorative wallpaper designs of various themes inspired by Animal Crossing.
Crafting
The wallpaper recipe follows a pattern of two papers on top of each other with two dyes to the side. The recipe yields 12 wallpapers, creating a design that is 3 blocks wide and 4 blocks tall.
In order to remove wallpaper you must use a wallpaper scraper. It is crafted from stick with an iron ingot above it with paper on top of the ingot.
Wallpaper Usage
Use the wallpaper on a vertical face of an opaque full block to place the wallpaper. The wallpaper will be placed as a continuation of surrounding wallpaper. If there is no wallpaper directly adjacent then it will be the bottom left part of the design if there is a floor in front of the wall, otherwise it will be the top left.

Great concept, keep this up and add more of them (in more sizes too, if possible). I think these can make it into some big modpacks that focus on decoration and stuff.
This could be a huge mod if you could add more wall papers that would be used in residential applications like the Manor wall paper you have. Great job so far. I wish you much success.

I'll definitely work on more wallpapers like that.
Anyway...Now THIS is something new! I've seen people create mods so you can paint blocks on any side, but this is really unique!
I have an interesting suggestion, because I see that you want to introduce quite a lot of textures. I think what might interest you is to take a Chisel Mod-esque approach, hear me out:
- You could initially create the above wallpaper patterns, there would be no recipe changes to anything to the ones above. However, there could be a name change for the patterns, perhaps something like "Sky themed wallpaper" or "Sweets Theme".
- You would still be able to use the crafted wallpaper as is. There would be no change in placing or use before and after using them with the Catalog.
- A new item, called a "Wallpaper Catalog" is introduced (Or any kind of item that can be used to open a UI, using this because I use them a lot for inspirations when designing patterns and such ). The Wallpaper catalog could be crafted using 4 wallpapers of any kind around a book.
- Right clicking the wallpaper catalog opens up a user interface that allows you to drop any of the wallpapers into a slot, and gives you the option to choose a variation. The variations could have a preview in the UI so you can see what wallpapers you can choose from. For example, Lets say you craft the Sky wallpaper and want to choose a variation for it. Some might be a sunset, a starry sky, some planet/space scene, and a stormy sky. All you need to do is select one of the variations in the UI. Of course you could introduce so many more variants of a texture with this method. All of the Wallpapers can be converted back to the original, crafted wallpaper. (see the screenshot for the UI at the end of the because I am awful at explanations)
-This method might be useful to help lessen the number of crafting recipes needed. You can simply decide on either creating a new theme entirely, OR just adding on to the respective categories.
Regardless of what you choose to do with the mod, I will be excited! I am very much looking forward to the direction this mod choose to go! Best of luck and hope to see more from you! Thank you

A catalog definitely sounds like a great idea. Based off the planned wallpapers I would need to create categories that aren't themed after the current 16. Since all the wallpapers are based of Animal Crossing I have pictures of all the wallpapers, available here. If I were to use the catalog system I would have one Wallpaper Catalog item, crafted with a book with some paper and dye. The catalog would be broken into categories and have name and color search functionality.

A catalog would be a bit strange imo. It makes it a bit too obvious that it is a mod. I like mods that fit nicely into vanilla. And, if it isn't too much trouble (I am not at all trying to force you into doing anything), could you make a version that just adds solid colored wallpapers of the vanilla colors (or the vanilla colors of clay). Kinda like a carpet for the wall.
Made you a mod spotlight for the mod. I'd love to see some more 8-bit video game wallpapers. Maybe something like the old Mega-Man series. I'm also not sure how technical this is, but some sort of stained glass art would look cool too. Kind of like the "Link" stained glass image from the Zelda series.

Awesome!
This needs to be in every single modpack from now on. Every. Single. One.
Good job :-)

This reminds me of Kaevators Wallpaper mod. This is a modpack staple though, like Chisel; You should just keep adding Wallpapers as time goes on.
Looks fantastic. Decoration must have.

This mod looks nice. Can you consider adding carpet though?
Carpets may be added in the future.

I thought you couldn't do that.
Currently, I don't plan on adding carpets.

LOVE the mod. Hope more designs come out soon!
I don't regret the things I've done, I regret things I didn't do when I had the chance.
