You can disable it in the settings (what's wrong with updating though?)
Is there any particular reason the settings can only be accessed in-game instead of through a config file? It's kind of a pain to find any given mod with the in-game browser, especially if you have a lot of them.
The things is, most mods already notify the user about updates through the chat line, not necessarily for the version of Minecraft you're running, and not all of them offer a way to disable this. A particularly bad example is the Thermal Expansion set of mods; if you have all four of them (counting COFHCore), and all four of them have updates, you get four individual messages in the chat line, which don't appear all at once, but one after the other, with delay between them, for what is effectively a single, large mod. This can only be disabled for minor updates; you get notifications about major updates no matter what.
I get why some people would want to be notified about updates instead of needing to check manually, but that's not how I want the game to be. When I load up a world, I prefer to be inundated with as little screen clutter as possible.

So, the problem is, when I use LLibrary with shaders (optifine shaders), it crashes. I use llibrary 0.5.5 1.8, and it doesnt work. The world is loading and everything, but when I turn on a shaderpack (I tried with another also), it crashes. I dont know what is the problem, I hope u will reply as soon as possible.

I keep getting this crash, help? It only happens when Thaumic Horizons is installed, but somebody there said it was a problem with llibrary, and it does say llibrary in the log file.
is there any way to turn off/remove your button form the Minecraft start screen? It is overlapping the button form Version Checker and I can't get to my list of mods that need updated. Thanks

LLibrary is very nice! I figured out how to load a Tabula (*.tbl) model via the Forge/Vanilla json model loading system. I've seen it in the code, but never saw any example of its use. I really wanted to use a Tabula model for items. It's actually pretty easy. Tested on MC/Forge 1.10.2 and latest LLibrary.
Note: All the textures must be ^2 squares. That is 16x16, 32x32, etc. a 64x32 will not work.
In your mod just make a simple Item class as usual.
LLibrary comes with a few visual changes. First of all, it adds the mod name of the selected item to tooltips. In 1.7.10, it also adds the modid and registry name when advanced tooltips are enabled.
Hi, the OP states this, but it does not seem to do this for me... was the functionality removed in by a Minecraft update, or am I just missing a settings menu somewhere that allows this?

Where is MowzieModelRenderer, I found a tutorial about animating your model in minecraft by bobmowzie and it needs llibrary, so I installed llibrary and when I used it, it gives me an error as if it doesn't exist, where is the MowzieModelRenderer? Was it completely removed? Or they just changed the name? very irritating.

It is now called AdvancedModelRenderer! It has a lot more features and capabilities and sets up a little differently (more easily, in fact), but the animation methods shown in the tutorial are still there.
EDIT: I've just added annotations to the video to reflect the changes in LLibrary.

*I updated my library mod to the latest version for 1.7.10[/p]
Minecraft Fan! And modder wanna be!
Is there a way to disable the outdated mods snackbar, and if not, can one be added? I have never wanted any mod to pester me about updating anything.
You can disable it in the settings (what's wrong with updating though?)
Llibrary is making the pokecube trainers to become invisible on 1.9.4 https://gist.github.com/jochuan/e47c2a46283f790a620d2442644025dd

It's NBT, you can edit it with an NBT editor.
Don't use LLibrary Legacy
Small, but annoying bug of LLibrary version 1.5.1 of Minecraft 1.7.10, the hand is glowing and transparent in first person mode, like you're a ghost.

thanks in advance.
