after playing with this i found a strange bug, when im typeing in chat if i press any key that is bound it preforms the action, so lets say i type
what are you doing
i move forward on w | left on a | right on d,
if other mods use special keys like p for [hardcore ender expanion by default] it will pop up a box and anything you have typed is deleted
this is for 1.7.10
I know this bug already, don't know why this is happening...
I'm getting the same action while in chat or in-game interface (like crafting table or inventory). Seems like the game is scanning for key presses twice. Your key configurations and the games default keys. I tried to add **** functions to function keys. with ****-f1 ect. The keys do both the original function and the one your mod assigns. I also gave a function to "key" and "shift key" for a default unused key. if i press shift I get both functions if I press just the key I get only the un-shifted function.
Compatibility with Not Enough Keys (http://minecraft.curseforge.com/mc-mods/224614-notenoughkeys) would be nice, as the latest update broke compatibility. And yes, I know it hasn't been updated since December 7th, but if you could let them work side by side, it would make it easier to find conflicting keys and allow for easier registration of the new key commands.
Aside from that, are the bugs mention getting fixed? As I'm experiencing them as well. Other than that, this will be a very useful mod in my pack and I urge you to keep up the good work *laughs evilly*
you are amazing first id conflicts say not now this. your are the creator of primary modpack making cheats! i am the modpackmaker and i am using this and say no to conflicting ids. I would also like you to know sometimes the entity id's don't render into the config and it crashes when you create a world but, i fixed it by totally regenerating the configs from your mod

Compatibility with not enough keys is probably impossible, because of each mod replacing vanilla gui with new one (using events, not asm). Their one is sorted. Mine tweaks buttons to make them support combinations. None of these tasks is possible without new Gui... Only if we created new our mod that would have higher gui open priority and would open merged gui...

Why MCreator sucks: jcm2606's file (doesn't open a new tab) He allows/welcomes anyone to link the file, so I put it here in my signature for people to know how MCreator functions. I thank jcm2606 (he's awesome) for creating the document/file and I'm just here to spread the word.

I'd love to use this mod, but the fact that you still control your character and all other functions while typing in chat or other GUI's is quite a dealbreaker.
You should mention it in the OP so that people know what issues this mod has before they download and setup it.
I also noticed that I can not open doors anymore with a short click with this mod installed, I have to long click for that, which leads to the door flicking open and closed repeatedly.
I'm not quite sure if and how that is this mod's fault alone, tho.

Okay tried a little more. Setting keys to none does turn them off.
Yes, full server support, and must not be installed on servers... (client only mod)

Well you could add NotEnoughKeys functionality to your mod to solve that problem. It does kinda make sense :-)
