Neither. It's how Thaumcraft calculates aspects. In this case, it tries to find the aspects for nuggets, checks the recipes and finds the transmutation recipe. So it takes the input from there, which are the same nuggets, and tries to find the aspects. So it just loops endlessly.

Are you sure the other mirror is loaded? If the chunk is unloaded, it won't teleport.
nope both mirrors are chunkloaded and after a bit of testing, I found it actually works normally, just not in the gauntlet

There is no natural light, when night time comes it's pitch black, no moon light and all that is heard is the scratching and moaning of whats around lurking to destroy you. Mining reveals unbeknownst horrors from the rocks just waiting to come out and devour your soul. Puddles of liquid blue or purple are not water, but also intent on harming you.
Has anybody got this working with any version of MFR? My game loads, but when I load a save it just sends me back to the title screen with server error messages on the loader.
I just realized I still have my bug of mobs still ignoring me even after I've deactivated my mantle although I've removed the mantle and waited a bit but the effect still lingers? maybe you could add a little dev tool to reset whatever value that makes me essentially invisible to almost every single mob just for me so I can continue testing unhindered by the fact that the mobs don't even know I exist?
EDIT: also how does the sauna stove actually work? like does it fill up the room? if then what does it do when it's in an open area? and does it have a space limit? also when does the hunger effect happen, while you're in the effect or when you leave it?
Looks like you can't automate removal of finished product from the spinning wheel, hoppers, golems etc remove stuff from the input sections instead, regardless of the side assigned.
That's intentional.

The wolf , raven and pocket cloaks require a base TG cloak for the recipe , rather than the magical cloak that opens the options.
Edit: Also, is there going to be any way of dyeing and/or hiding the cloaks? The various options that TG apparently gives you appear to be missing, and dyes don't work (nor does starting with a dyed cloak base).
It's ore dictionaried, both cloaks should work as a base. The 'special' cloaks can't be died, no, because of their specific style, and for some even specific texture. If you wanna hide it, enchant it with Translucency, one of the infusion enchants I add.

The Sauna uses an A* algorithm to check a block, then check the ones it's connected too, and so on. It will check up to 1200 blocks, but will never check more than 30 per tick, to avoid lag. It is meant to be used in doors, because that also makes it easier for you to know where you need to stand (it can spread wide when outside). The steam overlay is obviously an indication when you're in the area. The hunger is applied gradually while you're in there.
Personally, I like to build a little bathhouse, with a small pool of purifying fluid and a sauna in the middle to fll the room with cleansing steam ^.^

1.0.6 kinda broke on curse because I uploaded an invalid archive, so here's a changelog for both versions together:
- fixed removal recipe for cosmetic baubles (yeah, they kinda crashed otherwise...woops.)
- fixed essentia vial not getting consumed when cutting gems
- fixed correct brilliance+brittle modifiers being applied to gems
- gems can no longer be enchanted, the enchant now comes with the cutting
- coremodded Thaumcraft to make its Worldgen configurable (this was requested by thephoenixlodge of the Regrowth modpack, to allow the configuration of Eldritch Obelisk spawns)

I just wanted to say that I really like this mod and I'm glad to see that there are still active modders out there.
I'm also glad that this is a relatively short thread, because I was having a crash with Traveller's Gear and, thanks to the thread, I found out that I just needed to update Botania.
Also, how exactly do you attune primal affinities to the primal weaponry?
Traveller's Gear, use the R key to bring up the active ability menu while having it equipped. Armor is done the same way. I realize that this might seem tedious and slow, but those effects are not designed to be switched "on-the-fly" (although you still can, the speed for that radial is configurable in the Traveller's Gear config)
What version of the mod are you using?

When I try to create a world, it just sends me back to the main menu and doesn't properly create it.
When I checked my log, it shows a stack overflow when trying to create aspects and generating crafting tags.
I can post my log if necessary, but it's about 76000 lines and I thought I might just try to give you the gist of it.
