I don't like the idea of an actuall bar for hunger with this mod. A suggestion that was made in the original thread is that the hunger "Debuff" changes color. It starts off the color normally is now, and the more hungry you get the darker it gets, untill it's completely black. The same could be used for the breath meter when under water.
This would keep with the look of the regular SAO UI.
I think the bar works much better than the icon. Especially since a lot of servers use hunger as the energy or mana. Seeing the little icon get darker just doesn't work. Anyways, the bar fits in very well. I have no idea what you're talking about. Just look at this image from the anime:
The "zapping" sound is the sound effect whenever something dies. You see how when they die, they kinda 'explode' into blue'ish particles? The sound effect is part of that little death "animation"
Nah man. This is a completely different sound.. Like I said. I know what a player/mob death looks AND sounds like but this is more of like an electric buzzing. and water was flashing, idk why water but it was.

The only sound remotely similar to zapping is from the death animation...Go on creative and kill a pig. Try it. Also the water flashing is a glitch that occurs with the death animation as well.
Not what I meant at all. "Flat" as in no proper shading of graphics to be found, anywhere.
Have you seen the Sword Art Online menus before? Flat, basic, lack of shading; that's what it's supposed to look like. It's minimalistic and it gets the job done.
So, upon installing the mod, everything works pretty much as expected. It looks beautiful and I'm aware of the bug that causes it to crash. However I'm not sure if I have installed it incorrectly due to it having one missing texture. I'm using the 1.8 version and I see that Item Frames are showing up as black and purple blocks.
I'm just wondering why the Item Frames are showing up like this and how I can fix it, thank you.
I've heard this is a bug with the Forge version. I don't know if there is currently a fix for it, just try a different one.
I figured it out.. it was the death but it was a massive amount of entities at one, or 2 lots overlapping which is why it was loud, distorted and long.

Yeah...that happens whenever mobs despawn. All the hostile mobs despawn at the same time, and that aparently counts as death, and it plays the sound. I figured that out as it normally happened a little bit after morning
Can someone make a map for this? That would be amazing xD. Imagine a map for this with the 100 floors. Now that would be spectacular xD. Just can't wait till SAO can really be created in real life. I don't plan to make a company to make that game or vr stuff, but I definitely will invest into a company I think can get the job done to help them along the way.

The map would exceed minecraft build limits unless you used some weird system, and there may be a new technology out there getting it close to doable

Glad to see this is being continued since Jacki's left the project! I hope you'll still be making source available? I had planned originally on integrating features of the mod with my SAO server, the one Jacki had promoted on the old thread.

I wouldn't know yet, but the easiest case would be to go into the mod's source and add them in there, it can be done easily

Don't believe me? Test it out

Or you know...Just make it so whenever you try to get up a floor, it just teleports you to the next one...?
