When I try to sail my larger boats, part of them submerges under the water, which I like, but when I dock them, water has filled the lower level(s) inside my boat. How do I keep the inside of my boat from filling with water while still allowing the bottom layers to submerge?
Hey, guy who makes Davinci's Vessels, PLEASE improve submarines. Please fix it so I can make a submarine, make it rise and submerge (like an airship). I've been trying to hard to make submarines work using different mods and it has not been done. I will pay you like $10 on Patreon if you can fix this soon. Also fix the problem with water getting all deformed when the ship becomes solid again.
i got a few ideas for you that you could add to the mod, Jet Engines for planes, Rocket Launching Cannons, Random wreckage spawns under deep enough water and on land that you can find treasures and stuff in maybe even useful stuff or clothes you could wear like you wear armour, plane wreacks, ship wreacks, stuff like that, i think random wreckages around would be cool, maybe even some random sky islands, if i think of anything else i will let you know

This mod is wonderful. Thank you so much for keeping it going. I have only one issue with it over the years. When I fly an airship, the outbox doesn' match the exact outline and that's fine. I get the technical reason why. But here's a question...
Would it be feasible to make a block that I can attach to my ship so that when it is not assembled, it finds the first solid block beneath it (land essentially) and drops a ladder or rope or something which the play could climb in order to get to and from the ship safely and without accidentally picking up blocks by getting too low?
Anchors work well for established locations but I explore a lot because of all the mods I have. I basically have to take damage jumping out of my ship and then build a staircase back up. I can work with it and enjoy the mod regardless, and appreciate what you'e done with it. Just thought it might be a good idea.
I know this was just released for 1.12, but I was wondering if it would be released for 1.13. If so, that would be amazing, because then we could sail around the new ocean biomes.
This mod is amazing. However, when using sponge API on a server, I noticed that boats, airships, and submarines sometimes disappear. Anyone know how to fix this?
My ships always get caught in the wake of the water blocks they are replacing, making it impossible to sail anything larger than a raft, as the ship just gets pulled into the newly made maelstrom over and over. Anybody else experiencing this?

Yes, that's normal. You must fix the water by either building to the bugged area, or bucketing a waterblock nearby to trigger a block update. Fortunately, it only happens after initial assembly, disassembly and reassembly doesn't do that anymore. At least not for me.
I noticed the last update to this was in November of 2017. That means to me that it is promising that this mod is still being worked on.
So, my suggestion, although has previously been asked somewhat in "will we ever be able to move while the ship is moving?".
Is there any possible way to implement an automatic transit system, to the likes of WoW airship transportation system?
I would love to set up an adventure style server with stations with airships constantly moving from station to station, and players simply wait for the next stop, get on, wait for taking off, and then enjoy a ride to the next station.
This would be the absolute best mod ever if this functionality ever were developed!
A few suggestions (although I am no coder and am not sure how difficult this would be to implement) I love the anchor point blocks and they are a very welcome addition. Next step would be a waypoint anchor block, the ship will automatically fly (or sail) to the waypoint anchor, and stop. A tool to adjust the stop timing by clicking/right-clicking on the waypoint anchor, and then a UI to determine the Waypoint anchor name, and to which waypoint anchor the ship goes to next after the stop duration.
Of course fine tuning it would be amazing, to where the ship has a "smoothing" on its path, as opposed to a straight "point A to point B" pathing. The UI for the Anchor waypoints should have a "flight time" settings, or "flight speed" with enforced easing to reach max speeds, and a forced slow down as it approaches its next stop. I suppose this would also require a completely different helm to signify that these ships are not player controlled, like a "transit helm".
Even if you cannot change the entity properties to where players can move around while the ships are flying (or sailing) you could also have an automated warning message "Ship will be taking off in 30 seconds, please take your seat", and any players that refuse to do so can be booted and ported to another new block in a "Boot" port block for the purpose of force porting players off the ship to that dock (or added functionality of the port blocks and the use of the aformentioned tool to determine the teleport position) This way you can also avoid players falling off the ship once it takes off.
Man... I really need to just buckle down and learn how to program. This is still open source is it not?
If I can get my game to boot with this mod, I'll be using it for CityCraft. I feel realistic boats would help the docks area a lot more than static ships and rowboats of vanilla.

Does anyone know how to get vessels to be able to submerge? I managed to get it to work once with a box shaped vessel but when I made a rounded submarine it won't let me. The ship is airtight and I can only assume it has something to do with water slipping in when you place blocks diagonally from eachother.
In the mod config menu, located in the escape menu.
i would delete this but idk how
PLEASE ADD A VERSION FOR 1.11.2

Do you plan on adding cannons? Since you can't really have TNT cannons on ships, I think it would be cool if there was an alternative.
Check out my suggestions! Here is one of them:

Thanks for reading. Keep up the great work!
I just launch fire charges with dispensers. Can' really aim them very well and the ship has to be disassembled to fire, but it' fun.

My vessel is 2048 blocks. How can I make it useable with this mod? My creations tend to be rather large scale (made a Greek Trireme ship).
A step by step guide or YouTube video explaining everything you do would be super helpful to avoid any confusion and damage done to the mod.

Anybody know what makes the ships start to spaz out and get stuck when they're reasonably close to land (not even touching)?
Also, is there another way to switch from chair to chair so you can pick a specific one? It only lets me pick 2.
has this been changed so you can walk around on moving ships yet? worthless mod until it is.
It sure would be nice if we had some grenades don't you think?
will there ever be submarines?
