That works great! I'll try to pull it off; no promises though.
What it is: an evil ghost wandering through strongholds.
What it does: If you are wearing or holding metallic items (aka iron, diamond, gold, etc) it will tear them away from you. It will make your items levitate through the air with magnetic force. If it takes your armor it will strangle you with it. It will throw your items back at you, dealing damage.
How to kill it: Wear leather armor and use a wooden sword, stone sword, or a bow.
Drops: 4-6 Iron, (Rare Drop:) Magnet Gloves
Magnet Gloves: hold it to steal any enemy's metallic weapons and armor. Right click the mob to steal.

Okay, I know you don't have an exact schedule for releasing updates, but, at the current rate you are working, how long do you estimate it will take before the foliaath changes and the ferrous wraughtnaught are released?

Foliaath changes might be next week. No idea about the Wroughtnaut.
Is there a config setting as to what biomes that these will spawn? Using Ted's RWG and there are no "Jungle" biomes.
Nah, not yet, and I can't make a config file support modded biomes. Ask the mod author to add Forge Biome Dictionary support. You can use any mob spawn control mod in the meantime.
