Mowzie, magic mould is it's fungi it uses to grow lethal mushrooms.
lol dude it's spelled MOLD not mould (that would be prenounced mowld)
Also, mowzie i would like to suggest a small tweak to the mod because reasons, as some here might know, my favorite mob in this mod is the foliaath, and when i learned you can get baby foliaath's i was like "aaaaw, so i can get a cute baby friend?" and the answer was yes... UNTIL HE GREW UP AND BIT MY FACE OFF. so, i would like it if you could plant foliaath seeds in flower pots and feed them like normal but they instead stayed babies which didn't try to kill you, or at least some kind of potion that made them non-hostile towards you, thanks.
edit: i just updated to the lastest version of the mod and now i can't plant a foliaath seed at all, please help wth?

Mould and Mold are both correct spellings though....

mould is not a very common spelling especially since not even mowzie recognized it, and if you pronounce MOULD as it is, it sounds like a mixture of mowzie's name and mold, so mould i would say is a very poor way to spell the word.

This is probably a case of American English versus British English, so both of them are just as correct as each other. Like armour and armor, or colour and color.
I'm pretty sure that when Mowzie said he didn't know what a 'magic mould' is, he meant what the in-game item would be, not the word 'mould.'

The error doesn't mention Mowzie's Mobs anywhere. I think this is a Forge issue; are you sure you have the right version?
Try removing some mods and see if it persists.
The life goal of the army is for you to read those ideas, not to put them in the mod. That just one additional thing, in mah oppinion. All I did by dumping the octopus there was just so that you might tell ur oppinion...
So just for more dumping ideas: an amphibian with wings on its legs that live in underground caves, and flap those legs to do a wind that blows you a lil' farther than a wroughnaught. But, since it lives in lakes, its flapping abbility would be more defensive, since you have no pit to be pushed into and take fall damage. Thus, it might be more fitting for high grounds. Yet, not only is it already based on real creatires like the Dimetrodon, prehistoric amphibians and Sharovipteryx, but also people would consider an amphibian with hind wings as a stupid rip-off from the mighty fire-breathing lizard, that doesn't look idiotic as heck just like the amphibian. Also, being pushed is kinda' annoying, y'know... Yet, here's one of my derpy sketches of it:
I'm very confused. You say that it lives in caves, lakes, AND highlands? It doesn't make much gameplay-sense for it to push the player away if its only other attack is close range.
I will have to check it out. You suggest Qubble over Techne or Tabula? Do you know of any tutorials on it? Or is like Techne
I haven't used it, but all of these programs work almost identically on the front-end. Definitely do not use Techne, as it is dated and missing tons of features.
Well, no. The Barakoa aren't human. Their masks are part of their anatomy (which is why Barako's lips move).
You may be suggesting that I based them off of actual tribal cultures, which I feel is a bit of an ethnocentric assumption. Please think of the Barakoa as standalone characters.

Nah, they're just plants. They have no emotional ties to anything. Gameplay wise, I like having them attack even the players that plant them as a form of balance.
There will be a way to pacify them in the future.
I've heard that this is an issue. I'll look into it.
I love this mod, the mobs are so diverse and well fleshed-out! I was thinking that you could add something along the lines of a Naiad. A human like fish monster, or a mermaid; that captivates players with their songs. Each song could have different negative effects for those who are in her range; nausea, slowness, one that pulls you towards her. Once you were close enough she could drag you down into the depths. As a catch though, you can't hit her with projectiles because she would dive under water; like an Enderman teleport. Finally, they can't leave the water or the rocks they lay on.
I hope you like the idea, I think it could be a great edition. I know you are very picky about suggestions, as you should be, it is your mod after all. I have a couple ideas on how to implement the AI, if you are interested in the idea. Even though I am pretty sure you are completely capable of doing it yourself
I made some rocks for the Naiads to reside in. Possibly they could be found in clusters in the Ocean Biome, or multiple Naiads could live on one rock? All depending on powerful they are. The green mushrooms, varying lilly pads, and healing water are from Biomes 'O Plenty. Just an aesthetic touch.

Thank you!
That's pretty neat. I like to stay away from monsters from existing mythology though, so I'd like it more with a unique design twist if possible.

Don't know how unique this is, but it's what I got:
A symbiotic mob; a beautiful women contained by a slime. They put up a facade, of a women who was eaten by the slime, screaming for release. Using her looks and cries, she attracts prey for the two to feast on, while the slime slowly encapsulates the opponent. They would spawn on Sea Foam. Gelatinous forms that generate in clusters in Ocean Biomes. They could drop some sort of dark magic necklace that allows the player to be consumed by a slime, assuming the abilities of the mob? [I have no clue]
Their attacks would comprise of so:
The girl changing the color of the slime, applying a different potion effect on contact.
The slime spitting miniature slimes that swarm the opponent
The slime leaping onto a foe, suffocating it.
The slime expanding to consume enemies within a melee range.
The girl projecting a cube of slime that encapsulates the opponent.
Every once in a while the girl will force her head out of the slime to taunt the player, this is when she can be harmed.
The slime is invincible, but the girl only has 60 health.
And you thought the Foliaath was bad... (Dumb idea based off of the dynamite tree)
Gevaarte: Sprouting in the summer, these plants emerge with a thunderous cracking, from deep within the ground. These stony plants usually grow with such force that they uproot other plants, and impale mobs. They will produce a flower, which has the effect of luring hostile mobs to act as pollinators. The seed pod is incredibly dangerous, and when fully ripe, will explode and send seeds flying in all directions, potentially piercing armor, in order to grow more plants later on. If a seed hits TNT, it will also detonate that. Weeding them is not an easy task, as they will attempt to impale the player. Pickaxes seem to work easily on them, but all parts of the plant must be removed in order to kill it. After dredging all of the leaves off, the roots must be located, and removed. You could store the resultant corm away, and plant it later, but it will not be tame. It will also slowly spread at the right time.
I don't know if someone else have the same issue, but after use the sun blessing's power when hold shift the light particles stay still.
Thanks! Awesome mod.
I have a few ideas to make my own idea more plausible.
1. Instead of entire ice spikes, they just carry packed ice around randomly, similar to endermen.
2. Instead of an entire ice spike being picked up in their more humanoid form, they materialize an icy sword by freezing the air around them.
3. Sol's Visage could be very effective on them.
Mowzie, magic mould is it's fungi it uses to grow lethal mushrooms.
I think this

That's the mantis shrimp, and it can also punch at the force of a bullet
what have I missed? I finally got this account back after a year.

I was trying to fit Heimskr's speech into this place, but it wouldn't fit.

I haven't used it, but all of these programs work almost identically on the front-end. Definitely do not use Techne, as it is dated and missing tons of features.
Oh! I've never noticed that. I'll fix that for sure.
Yeah, sounds good. Thanks.
Ah okay.
Well, no. The Barakoa aren't human. Their masks are part of their anatomy (which is why Barako's lips move).
You may be suggesting that I based them off of actual tribal cultures, which I feel is a bit of an ethnocentric assumption. Please think of the Barakoa as standalone characters.
There's a new boss mob with a ton of side features! Check the OP.
Nah, they're just plants. They have no emotional ties to anything. Gameplay wise, I like having them attack even the players that plant them as a form of balance.
There will be a way to pacify them in the future.
I've heard that this is an issue. I'll look into it.
"Well, no. The Barakoa aren't human. Their masks are part of their anatomy (which is why Barako's lips move)."
So we are literally wearing their faces....Well not the creepiest thing I've thought of recently xD
Yo!
it won't let me place foliaath seeds anywhere, i tried every block from minecraft and mowzies mobs, please help
Umm... I'm not able to plant the foliaath seed, does anyone have a fix for that?
This is a bug in the most recent version. It will be fixed.
Thank you!
That's pretty neat. I like to stay away from monsters from existing mythology though, so I'd like it more with a unique design twist if possible.
Looks good, yeah.
This fix for foliaath seeds... will it be for 1.10.2 or 1.11?
Curious because server.
Praise be Ro-naza, greatest among the thaumaturges!
