Um.. I think i know what is causing game to crash. It's liquids that update too much at same times.or Something that too much. and Causing game to crash.
This problem happened to my mod while create world and then causing a crash. But after i decrease a liquid that spawn in underground. The problem is Solved.
My problem is too much Liquids causing game to slow, very lag, freeze and then crash the game.
i got same crash log as this mod. I think you should try decrease those liquids.

Are you running on 32 bit Java (assuming you also have a 32 bit OS, otherwise, upgrade to 64 bit)? This also happens to me even in vanilla (for example, one time the game crashed due with this error when I entered the Nether, due to falling gravel) unless I add the JVM argument -Xss1024K, which sets the stack size to the default for 64 bit Java (at least on Windows 32 bit Java allocates only 320 K of stack space); you can also try using a higher value, such as 2048K (don't go too high as this takes up memory, though not so important in an application with only a few threads like Minecraft).

Thanks! This explains it. It's all the lava and water in that level. The possibility it was caused by a vanilla bug with liquids is the one thing I overlooked.

OK, mod test 3.0. I don't have any pictures this time, so I'll just list a few observations.
1. The tools seem to be fully operational in their uses (ametrine tipped diamond mines fragmented bedrock)
2. The "Near Void" layer looks pretty good, at least in the damage. (1/2 a heart every 10 seconds)
3. All the compressed ores are pretty well set up.
4. Also, the portals all seem to work.
With that all noted, there is one thing I'd like to point out. I'm kind of curious how all the layers will link together in the end. The portals, which originally were on the bottoms of each layer leading to the one below, are gone. I was able to get the different types of portals in my inventory thanks to NotEnoughItems, but I'm still wondering how all the layers will be linked in the end (will there be portals separating them, will be all in one layer similar to the cubic chunks suggestion, or another question will the player have to manually craft the portals?)
Side Note: The bedrock plains layer still looks pretty bare, but I'm sure that will change over time.

I'm still using Windows 7.
I said this. Two days later, my computer's motherboard melted down and I had to get a new one with Windows 8.

You don't use the portals anymore. In the current release, if you dig down to y=1 you will be teleported to the next level. Going up to y= 253 or 254 (I forgot which) teleports you to the previous level. In the next release that will be changed to y=0 and y=255.
Regarding the next release, the silk touch not working on compressed ores bug will be fixed, the lava on the Bedrock Plains level will be replaced with Molten Iron, and Ametrine-Plated Armor will be added. Some of these changes (the silk touch bugfix and part of the Molten Iron feature) have already been made and pushed to the GitHub. The rest have yet to be coded.

In regards to getting to the deeper caves, it would be cool if actual caves generated leading to the deeper caves rather than you having to dig to get to them. However i know the vanilla cavegen makes lava spawn in caves below y=12 or something so you'd need to find a way to empty the lava out.
Well! that's the fun part. In order to access those layers, you have to get a fire resistance potion! xD making it much, much more interesting. (having to visit the nether 1rst, and then the deeper caves, in other words...)
This has to be one of my favorite mods beside iguana tweaks, hunger overhaul, and simple ores. Well, the simple ores mod is exactly the problem that I'm having with this mod. Here are the things that I would like to see to help improve the mod and add compatibility with simple ores or mods that add new ores. Before I do so though I want you to realize that I do know there was an original thread with different ideas, but these are different ideas that you might like.
-Remove the nether portal. To get to the nether now, you have travel to the nether after the "near nether" realm. In my opinion, this fits better into the game and makes a lot more sense.
-Add different ores from mods compatibility. There are some mods such as simple ores which have ores that don't spawn in these dimensions. There probably is a way to make it so that any ore from any mod will spawn in the different dimensions.
-Add tools for the new ores in the game. Currently in your mod, most of the ores have no purpose. I know that they are going to or already serve a different purpose besides making tools, but it would be nice to see the new ores have custom tools and armor sets. This would completely eliminate the need for mods such as simple ores, which add new tools and armor, and having these ores not even spawn in the new dimensions.
I hope you consider my ideas, these were the only things that were bothering me as I was playing with this awesome mod!

I second the Nether idea. However, digging up may be a problem with lava. XD
The problem with the Ores compatibility is the compressed dimension. I mean, he'd have to get permission from other modders to make ores in foreign mods compressed. That's a hassle, really.
Uses for ores will probably come later, unless you didn't notice them yet.
Finally my own idea. Lower some of the liquid flows. Can't stand lag, even though I average about 140 FPS without this mod.
I wasn't saying that I wanted compressed versions of other ores, I just was saying I wanted the ores to be able to spawn in the different dimensions. They won't for me

That's still tricky, since I need to detect all "ore" blocks and set them to generate with the correct frequencies (as set by the mods they come from) in all the dimensions. Detecting the ores is doable with the Ore Dictionary, but getting the gen frequencies is much harder.

JVM arguments set certain parameters of your Java environment (like the memory and stack size).
To change them for Minecraft, follow these steps:
In your launcher's Edit Profile dialog, there is a text box labeled "JVM Arguments". Add this JVM arguments onto the end of what is already in there (after adding a space). If you can't type in the box, check the checkbox to the left of it to enable it.

Deeper Caves has been updated to 0.2.2 (The Near Void Update)!
It includes a fix for the compressed-ores-not-responding-to-silk-touch issue.
It also has an entire new level and more!
The download is in the OP.
Change Log:
Added Final Labyrinth level.
Added Forgotten Gemstone ore, gem, and block.
Added Molten Iron to Bedrock Plains level.
Added Fragmented Bedrock Buckets.
Fixed the following bugs:
Ores not dropping XP.
Compressed ores not dropping themselves when mined with silk touch.
Edit: Serious bug! Do not jump down into the void below the Near Void level. Fall slowly with water. Otherwise, you will die of fall damage on arrival in the next level.

It should be compatible with most of the minecraft forge mods, i use it with like, over 60 other mods, and it still run fine...
Yes. The only known incompatibilities are biome and dimension ID conflicts, which can usually be fixed by changing config files (Deeper Caves will have one soon).

Hey, i have find a bug with this mod, sometimes, when i use it with a few other mods (like Mo'Creatures), it takes much longer than usual to create a new minecraft world, and chunks take a VEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY long time to load, sometimes they take like minutes to load, is it possible to fix this bug? because, it's very annoying, and i don't want to get rid of none of the mods
EDIT: PS: it load pre-loaded chunks and chunks that were loaded before normally

Here is a relevant bug report on this issue, which most commonly occurs when water and lava springs mix together during world generation.
TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
Yes I'm using Java 32bit and Windows 8.1 32bit. I can't upgrade my java for 64Bit.
I'm got only 3Gb ram and When i play minecraft. Usually eat my ram up to 1,100Mb.
How i can do.
