After some more updates, bug fixes, and other improvements, it is now in beta for 1.10!
I have a bit more tweaks/content I want to add before setting it to full release, and I definitely need more beta testing, but it should be in a playable state at this point.
For those that still follow this, most of my future updates will be on the curseforge page, don't expect a lot of notifications here.
Currently, IronBackpacks is in open beta for 1.10 (with content/fixes added very often), and I've pushed out a couple fixes/improvements for 1.7 as well.
Got a couple questions (some of these might be answered by silly me just looking through configs)
Currently working on the player inventory GUI in my Tradewinds pack.
I'm using the Traveller's Gear mod, which allows me to reskin the inventory GUI, and reposition pretty much any slot (so, I can move any of the inventory slots, armor slots etc)
This mod also adds some slots of its own (and adds items to the game that uses these slots) - one of them in particular is the cloak slot.
What I'm trying to achieve here is a player inventory UI that's streamlined and useful. Tradewinds has your backpacks mod, which from what I understand, the backpack can be equipped in the chest slot.
There's also another custom mod I added (and what Im trying to achieve here will be on me to take care of, but wanted to describe it so you kinda know what Im aiming for here) that adds trade packs, which currently get equipped to the chest slot.
I want to be able to utilize the cloak slot that the Traveller's Gear mod adds for any 'back equipped' item, such as our trade pack mod... and also this backpack mod. Rephrasing here, I want the iron backpacks to be able to be placed in the Traveller's Gear cloak slot.
My question is, how can I accomplish this? AFAIK, the TG mod has an API, so I guess I would need some sort of small, single purpose mod that can make this happen, but not sure.
My other question is, would it be possible for me to somehow add additional skins/textures for the backpacks? Would be neat if players can apply skins to their backpacks, no matter what kind it is. Again, haven't dug too deep into the config side of this mod yet, so not sure if that's already possible or not.
Gr8pefish and TehNut are working on a 1.11+ rewrite of IronBackpacks (see their Github Notes about "will be implemented in 1.11+") . So happy good news to everyone who loves Ironbackpack like me

Cannot put the backpack on my back?
Equip Backpack is set to F but pressing that does nothing, and F is ONLY assigned to that?

How to remove upgrades?
Put the backpack back in a crafting grid. The 1st slot removes the 1st upgrade, the 2nd slot the 2nd upgrade, etc.
Look at the custom JEI tab in-game for more info. Also, I rarely check here anymore FYI.

i face some bug when i use this mod
i open the bag and i click on the 4 button that i put my bag on
with my mouse in the bag slot
the bag seems to be put in to it's own bag and after i leave the bag
the game crash
still this mod is great

Will this mod be coming to 1.16.4 or not, cuz I really like it but I play on 1.16.4 for mod/server related stuff.
