The weak blood orb has to be bound to you if it wasnt already.
Yep, it's bound. It's partially ok, though, because I think I figured out how to make an infinite blood system.
But a bit more blood couldn't hurt, I suppose.
So, sorry if the solution is simple but I can't seem to find one. I am playing on a multiplayer server with this mod installed and, long story short, initially I was able to put protection from plates and projectile protection from rivets on armor pieces, but I cant seem to figure out how to do it again. Any insight would be appreciated.
EDIT
Ok, I figured it out: It requires IRON plates and rivets. So, that's solved, but I still cant figure out how to change armor cosmetics in the finishing anvil.

Make sure you click the checkmark before you take the tool back out or it wont be set.
Sorry for bothering, but how does one use the Crest of legends?, it seems to work different from all others crest as the template and dye alone doesn't seem to work, using latest 1.7 build, and i do have a modifier slot available on the shield. (or does it even work at that version of the mod?)

I just had a thought actually. There's an addon for Tinkers called tinkers modifiers you can find on curse that lets you add/tweak modifiers for tinkers construct. Maybe there's a way to use this to work around the issues with iguana tweaks removing the ability to add protection, projectile protection, and blast protection by maybe assigning different items to the modifiers? I guess it'd all depend on if Tinkers Modifiers can make use of the modifiers added by Tinkers Defense.
Hello I know you said that 1.7.10 is dead, but I still cling to it since a lot of my favorite mods are still on it and I recently found out about this mod and I like the idea the only problem is in game the tool tips tell me that it only suppports armor pieces in Stone and Iron, but if I go into NEI's pages I can see wooden clasps and flint rivets and was wondering how do I make these? I tried making the stencil for the armor pieces and putting them in the part builders with the appropriate amount of materials with no avail and I would really like to use this so I wouldn't have to rely on Iron armor solely and I could get some early in game armor or what have you.
By the way for reference I use TiC tooltips and I use Iguana's Tinker Tweaks.
It's sort of annoying, right? 1.6.4 - 1.7.10 is probably the golden age of modding. I wish people were still supporting it, regardless of its age.

Now look, buddy. I'm an Engineer. That means I solve problems. Not problems like 'what is beauty', because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems. Like, how am I going to stop some big, mean mother-hubbard from tearing me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer: Use a gun. And if that don't work: Use more gun. Like this heavy-caliber, tripod-mounted little ol' number designed by me. Built by me. And you'd best hope, not pointed at you.

The problem is time above all else. Supporting old code is nice and all, but eventually you run out of time to do that and have the capability to do new things. Despite all the troubles of 1.8 and above, many new things have been added in to the point that mods can do things now that there was no way of doing them back in pre-1.8. As a former coder myself who has had to jump between versions of code for a job, I can attest to the fact that, eventually, you get really sick and tired of seeing the old stuff constantly cropping up and causing issues with the program and just want to rewrite it from scratch and never deal with the old stuff again.
I'm not telling you to stop supporting 1.7.10. I'm still building packs for that version for my family and friends while we work on getting computers (or at least compatible graphics cards for our old computers) that can handle 1.10+, because I've seen the stuff that's there and it... is.. amazing. But our computers can't handle it right now, and our jobs pay so little I can't afford to upgrade. But as I said, I'm not going to ask modders and developers to look back. I've been in their positions with various jobs, and I know you can't please everyone. Just know they want you to be able to move on. There's various mods that fix almost everything you might hate about newer versions, including what most people seem to complain about... combat.
Seriously, check out curseforge and curse. There are so many mods out there for 1.10x that it is slowly gaining that new golden glow about it.
Hey guys. Is there any decent guide to this mod on how to make armor?
In 1.7.10, how do you add supping? Or does it just not work?
/TD ToggleTransparency - this is a weird bug that just randomly popped up, I have no idea why it started doing it.
Supping is a weak blood orb and a sacrificial knife.
Ah, ok, thanks. I didn't try those two together. Supping is kind of the thing I'd want on all my weapons.
A weak blood orb and a sacrificial knife still don't seem to work. Maybe it's a mod conflict...

Nope, other mod compat is optional.

That's all fine but this Mod is broken and needs to be fixed.
It was left in a state that's horrible.
I don't care who fixes it. Maybe let someone else take over?

I was told on Lance's Discord that if anyone wants to fix the issues with Tinker's Defense for 1.7.10 that would be allowed.
https://github.com/Lance5057/Tinkers-Defense
The big one is the Transparent Armor Issue
1.7.10 has been abandoned.
