That aside, it looks really nice. I love the detail you put into the modifiers.
I just started ME^4, and I have a few questions about this mod. Where can I find information on how the shield materials differ from each other (do they all block "all damage in a 120 deg. arc", as in the original Battlegear mod, with the only difference being durability and speed?), and are the various modifiers I'm seeing (Anthropod Hater... or something like that, I can't quite recall) have any effect, or are they still just for show?

Right now it's just durability and speed. The only working modifier is redstone which increases speed unless you want to beat things with the shield itself lol (not shield bashing). I should have an update that adds some new stuff soon, mostly modifiers.
can you add support for ExtraTiC materials? I'd love to be able to make shields with metallurgy materials. Also have you considered talking to Glassmaker and boni for help with adding the icons for your add on?
Would be neat to see an armor variant of this. Say making armor molds by placing a chest piece in the casting basin since it already 3D renders such items in it.
Alright, thanks. ^.=.^ Glassmaker seems to be adding a lot to the next ExtraTiC so I am really looking forward to having that as an option for shields as well
Hi. I love playing with mods in minecraft mod packs and when I discovered TiC I fell in love with it, but It was missing something. Yes, it recently had an update that added new ranged weapons, and before that it added travellers gear, but it was still missing something. This mod perfects it, and with a little work I can guarantee that it will be a great addition to every adventure based modpack! I had some ideas about your mod, and although I'm not a coder, I do find myself pretty decent at modeling and creating sprites, so if you're free sometime I'd love to discuss some ideas With you!

Everything is on github so if you'd like to submit graphics or ideas there I'd be more than happy to look at them and maybe take them in.

I might make a small side mod to add these in but I wont put them in Tinkers' Defense as they have nothing to do with defense.
Hey there~! I wanted to say thank you for this mod, and also leave a comment. It seems to work with Extra TiC (Adding Orichalium shields for example) but the color doesn't appear to register. I'm using Tinker's Construct, Metallurgy 4, Another One Bites the Dust, and Extra TiC. I thought it might be an issue with AoBD, so I double checked the color codes in it's config, but it looks fine. Any thoughts?
Edit: Scratch that for a minute. I just noticed I have version 1.0. Going to update and see if that changes anything.
Edit2: Updated to 1.1- LOVE the new shield looks! The colors still don't appear to be happening though D:

ExtraTIC should work fine once it updates, till then it'll all be white.

Except it doesn't. you actually can't craft shields with the ExtraTiC materials, even though there are shields for those materials in NEI/Creative.
Until Glassmaker releases an update to ExtraTIC there isn't much I can do. Sorry :C
I'm INSANELY lazy as well... so...

Since I know TiC and M&B, I wait for a mod like this.
