Are you going to add any weaknesses for gem armor? As far as i know right now there are no ways to kill someone in gem armor. The old EE2 had a weakness to explosions but that's all
also are you planning on ever adding items of your own design that were not in EE2? I understand that ProjectE is supposed to simply be anEE2 remake but im sure that if the origional author had kept working on it he would have added more items. For example what about an earth ring, like an earthquake power? I personally think of the harvest goddess band as more of a nature ring than an earth ring.

There are a number of weapons that can beat the crud out of gem armor these days, especially from mods like tcon, so its certainly not being nerfed any time soon. Even back in the day it was not god armor, a Nano Saber could rip it a new one.

There is a official addons mod planned that will introduce new EE2 style things, but right now I'm more focused on other projects such as CraftCrossing. There is however a unofficial addon list in the main post with plenty of new goodies from the community.
using ProjectE-1.7.10-PE1.9.3h i cannot extract any items from an energy condenser on any side using Project Red transportation pipes. It works with default minecraft chests but not with the energy condenser.
Even a Hopper cannot extract items from it :S
Edit: I found the problem, the condenser needs to have an item set in the top left to let the items go. I personally think this is not a good implementation if its voluntary since it prevent us to use the condenser as a simple chest.

The condenser will only allow you to extract the target item so you dont go sucking out things you are trying to burn for EMC. If you want a simple chest just use the alchemical chest?...
Did a couple searches and didn't see this directly addressed...
Playing the latest version of ProjectE from within the 'Clouds of Darkness' modpack and I'm noticing most of the items don't have an EMC value. What's troubling me is even ProjectE items are missing an EMC value?
I spent the better part of last weekend trying to address this [by manually adding EMC to items] but is there an easier way, perhaps with a ProjectE command or config option?

They have likely included custom EMC values with the pack, you can reset this but it may bypass the intended balance of the pack. The easiest way would be to enter the config folder of the pack and delete the ProjectE folder.
I added ProjectE to the pack which is why I find the lack of EMC values on ProjectE items so disturbing.
I need to pay more attention to the opening chat log...
Just performed your suggestion and all it did was remove my weekend of added EMC values. But I did finally notice references to ProjectE errors in the opening chat. And I'm a dolt. I thought I had added ProjectE in the pack when it was there all along. However, it seems they've minetweaked some of the ProjectE items and the script appears to not work correctly.
I'll do some more investigating on my end to see what's what.
Deleted the Folder and the script and I've got default EMC on some vanilla stuff and some various mod items...but still no EMC for anything from ProjectE.
Edit:
Reinstalled the modpack fresh and sure enough, there are 37 pages of items with EMC value. Right now trying to determine how I fubar'd that. The pack uses ProjectE-Alpha 0.2c. Could an update to the current version cause the custom EMC value to vanish?
Edit: Yup. Just installed latest version of ProjectE to the pack and that's what kills the pre-configured EMC values.
Edit: Ok...edited files due to naming changes for ProjectE stuff but I'm still not seeing most of the pack-defined EMC [37 pages in NEI for the alpha version vs 8 pages for the current version]. I've tried everything I can think of. Is there any way to port the EMC values from the old version to the new?
I'm working on (and nearly finished with) a 64 x 64 texture pack for ProjectE for Soartex's Fanver resource pack. There's a preview attached. I should have it done within the next week Input/thoughts would be appreciated!

I'm not a huge fan of Soartex, but my GF is so you are certainly making her happy. That being said those are some sexy textures, I want those chests in my house IRL. When things are all said and done let me know so I can tweet the crud out of it.

Hi sinkillerj
love your work and your mod, but I have a problem with Better Beginnigs mod
ProjectE disabled some recipes of the Better Beginnings mod, why?

I am not familiar with that mod, but we do not disable or modify any recipes. It could be that the mod detects ProjectE and disables some things on its own, or another mod is interfering, but its not us.
