Can I make a suggestion? Instead of mobs dropping loot and poofing away when they die you could make them poof away into a body, like players do, and have the mob's loot in the corpse.

yes but if you kill a lot of mobs will give a lot of lag
I kind of wish my skin would show up in 1.7.10 since most other mods still use that version(including the wasteland mod sadly) and I was hoping to do a post apocalyptic survival world with my little brother... guess ill make do with skeletons even if they don't quite feel the same(im not to picky, just thought it would be nice)

well what if you had a limit of how many there could be on the ground at one time? or after a certain amount of time they despawned. the player's wouldn't tho

I tried very hard to make that happen, but when I ask for the player skin cache from Minecraft 1.7.10, it is always empty (whereas Minecraft 1.8 gives me the skin textures for the requested player profile).

dr cyano this is a reply to your awnsers. yes im using 11.14.0.1267 version of forge im using java 64 bit version 8
and im using windows 8.1 no the body isn't invisible it just wiggles when i mean it teleport 5 blocks away from it's orginal
position look i can give you a screenshot but im using optifine and for some reason it crashes also onther bug if you die
on a cactus after 5 seconds it dissapears and it doesn't drop the items and then your sad espesiaccly when you have diamonds
Okay, I'll try running it with Optifine (which I've never used before) on Forge 1267 and see if I can reproduce the wiggling.
The cactus bug has been fixed in the new version. Somehow I originally thought people would prefer the bodies to be destructible by default with the option to turn on invincibility. The new version is invincible by default with the option to turn off invincibility (I didn't realize that most people don't obsess over the config files like I do).

The latest version of optifine crashes with Lootable Bodies. However, optifine HD_U_A3 works for me.

I am unable to replicate the jiggle problem, but the latest Optifine did cause me to crash (version HD_U_A3 did work). Try playing without Optifine and see if the bodies still jump around.
Also, your posts would be a lot easier to read if you used punctuation, DragonGamerHD56. Try separating your sentences with the period symbol (if you are using a translator, then maybe you could translate one sentence at a time and place a . between each translation).

Those are good ideas. The multiple poses idea has he most requests so far, so I'll add it to my todo list.

When this mod is properly fleshed out, maybe you could team up with a few other coders like MadCrazyDrumma and finally revive SkyrimCraft? I like how Skyrim has a loot system almost identical to yours, and could be implemented into a Minecraft mod.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
Hey, I was testing with this mod installed and found a very serious bug. Apparently, when you die items can lose their metadata. This happens to all items but the one you're holding when you die.
For example, I tested with the wooden planks. I had an Oak Plank (5:0), Spruce Plank (5:1), Birch Plank (5:2), and Jungle Plank (5:3) on my hotbar in that order and nothing else. I died holding the Jungle Plank and my body only had the 1 Jungle Plank and 3 Oak Planks, because Oak was the first item with the ID of 5.
For other items, it gives me invalid ids. For example, I was testing with potion packs and had 5046:1 and 5046:23 and when I died both turned into 5046:29, a non-existent id (became "Undefined Potion Pack).
I tested this in my mod pack and with the mod alone, both using forge 10.13.2.1270. Also there is that death delay issue which I assume others have brought up (death message doesn't appear until a few second after you die and corpse has been created). Anyway, really love this mod; think it is much cooler than Tombstones. Hopefully this issues can be fixed soon. Also, a toggle on the bone and rotten flesh on death would be nice =P
That metadata issue is a serious bug. I'll fix it as soon as I fix my laptop computer (I broke Ubuntu and had to reinstall everything). Is that bug in the 1.8.0 version as well or just the 1.7.10 version?
The death message delay has nothing to do with this mod and I doubt there's anything I could do to make it happen sooner.

I have only tested the 1.7.10 version currently. Also, I don't notice the death message delay without the mod; normal vanilla death and gravestones both have the message trigger immediately.
I found the bug and I am implementing a fix (forgot to check the damage values when determining whether to stack 2 items).
This mod does nothing involving messages or notifications (and is not that computationally intensive), so I don't know why the death message is delayed. I haven't noticed the delay myself, but I generally don't pay much attention to the chat log.

No, but you can set invulnerability to true in the config file for 1.7.10 for the same effect.
Edit: Now the changes have been back-ported. You no longer need to fear cacti (unless you turn-on cactus damage in the config file).
